The lyrics are corny, she’s pretty. I know she’s tired of just being pretty, I mean she does have a voice, but I just think she’s missing that vavavoom. The lyrics is childish and the song doesn’t fit her voice. The video also made me think of Janet’s (love will never do) and Jennifer Lopez’s (love don’t cost a think) because they both went topless towards the end.
I was feeling most of PCD stuff more than I’m feeling her by herself.
I always thought she was so much more than the PCD (never liked the group, but this chick and the black girl can sing) and needed to leave the group because she was too big for them, but I’m so disappointed in her. So far I don’t like her videos and I find her singles (and other songs I’ve heard) horrible….I mean worse than the PCD’s. Wrong single choices and have you seen the album cover? I was like WTF is this? As #27 BK said, she didn’t live up to the expectations. Maybe she does need the PCD, maybe she left too soon, I don’t know but the label didn’t handle that solo thing well.

This is a nice song, but nothing to write home to mom about. She has not yet done it for me. The first single was straight garbage, even if TI was on the single. I think this should have been her first single. Video is really nice and does fit the song. She is a very beautiful girl, but sometimes you are just better backed by 17 girls than being solo! Hopefully she will learn her lesson w/ this album and go back to PCD w/ her tail between her legs.

Why would she leave the group? I’m still trying to figure that out… I never thought a girl group could be successful after the boondock burlesque that was Destiny’s Child, so I was surprised at the success of PCD. But they worked, I loved all their singles… They would have been around forever… She messed up, leaving the group…maybe it was money…Robyn Antin getting rich off her voice or something… Maybe the success of female solo artists lured her into a false sense of security: Nelly Furtado, Fergie..
I used to really like Nicole when she was in the group. She seemed so strong, independent, and a powerhouse vocalist. I have the PCD album and her vocals were amazing, especially on Don’t Cha and Feelin Good. But now that she’s on her own, this girl sounds like she cannot sing. She can sing, but her tone sounds weird. She kinda sounds like a boy singing. Nicole is beautiful but all about look! I’m tired of it. All you saw was how pretty she was and shots of her body. It was just a play on the camera to make it look like she wasn’t trying to use her look to sell. This single sucks big time. It’s very POP which is the real the music she likes to do, and very boring. It’ll probably do good on pop stations, but nothing spectacular.

Although initially when i saw it i wasnt really impressed by the concepts however after listening to the lyrics its really a nice video. I have heard all the colaborations she has even done with 50 cent and liked it because like everyone else i too enjoyed seeing Nicole bop it and bring it with an up tempo single but now she is making attempt at being seen as a sex symbol as well and i think shes mad sexy and beautiful however i just hope she when performing get out of the stripper-like sex kitten pussycat mode and makes an separate image for herself with HER own unique style although i have to say her stylist so far is on track but keeps PCD’ing her out sometimes..
