I think they BOTH did their own thing with the jacket. Beyonce, looks her usual, typical but beautiful self and Kelis looks cute and edgy.

Kelis hands down! Beyonce shoes are cuter, but if you gonna have something that match a jacket you gotta make sure that the shoes and belt are the SAME exact color! I think Beyonce was trying too hard to find shoes and a belt or WHATEVER to go with her jacket that she just gave up and decided on something safe. And on top of that, all that white was too typical. And a white bag…WTF?? Now Kelis on the other hand found items that didn’t really match the jacket entirely (thats whats in right now anyway; not matching too much) but still manage to make everything work. I don’t know, in my opinion Kelis rocked it way better and where I’m from (BKLYN, NYC) rocking shoes, belts or accessories that match with your whole outfit is played out and lame.

I think Beyonce rocked it better. Pairing the jacket with an all white outfit gives it a “clean” look. It tones the jacket down a bit. You don’t want to have too many other things going on when wearing that jacket.

It’s funny how polarizing this “Who Rock’d it better” is (though I agree that all Beyawnce posts are polarizing)… Anyway, I think people have such strong feelings about Kelis’s outfit being cleary the best, because they don’t divorce kelis from her overall “style,” I guess is the word…
It’s quite hard, almost impossible for Beyawnce to be measured against someone known for having unique fashion sense (and that is only saying that Kelis’s is unique, it doesn’t pose the question of one’s liking it or not).

Honestly, I don’t consider this one of Kelis’s best outfits, and I am a fan (not a stan lol) but I just have a hard time giving Beyawnce anything over Kelis… A better comparison would be Zoe Kravitz in the yellow sequin dress and Kelis in the blue one…Even though Zoe’s uniqueness is questionable, she’s better off than middle-aged Beyawnce…
