For this edition of ‘Who Rock’d It Better’ we have actress, Golden Brooks (left) and Pussy Cat Dolls member, Melody Thorton (right). Both ladies rock’d the same Herve Leger bandage dress at recent events. Big thanx to CL Reader Shantel from sending this one in.
Melody rock’d the dress first at a VMA after party in Las Vegas on September 9th. Golden, on the other hand, wore it at a Emmy after party on Sunday. Who Rock’d It Better?

I got to give it to Golden, because it looks like Melody’s freak-um dress has with full frontal………It looks like a freaky-deeky dress.
Neither one of them rocked it well. Herve Leger is for women with curves, and these 2 gots none! They both looks a MESS!
Neither, from the neck up Golden is still all wrong…and from the neck down Melody’s pose is horrendous, so I can’t even tell if the outfit does her justice or not.
Like I said previously in another post, Golden needs to reek havoc on her make-up and styling crew. She looks horrible. I jus hate that nobody has the decency to tell her when she’s lookin the fool; and that’s almost all the time soooooo let’s get it together here. I would think that every woman jus KNOWS what suits her body type. Juss because it’s a trend doesn’t mean it’s a trend for you!!!!
Mel on the other hand looks cutesy…. she keeps it young. Is she still w/ Bow-weezie???

I am so tired of this “dress”… I’m tired of it, period… I don’t get how they’re re-releasing these things… I really don’t understand, I know there’s many different designs, many different dresses, not just this body hugging, below the knee number…there are others, but I don’t get how they can rerelease this… Fashion is in a low, low place…
As for Golden, she looks bad (even on the show, she looks bad to me, too) because she, obviously, has an idea of what she’d like to look like… Too bad for her, the idea is jacked… She wears the wrong shade of makeup, she doesn’t repair the damage dye jobs to do her hair, she revels in sexy getups, without regard for her figure…she’s really just devoid of self-concept…
And, I don’t think this board has helped her… She seems to me more of a perezhilton kinda girl…or maybe she’s too busy to go on perezhilton, because she spend all her time partying with paris hilton… It’s either one or the other for Golden… She aint thinking about an urban blog…
I think she has the potential to be a great role model, she’s very accomplished… But, she seems to have this defeated attitude about our culture…she likes dancing like paris hilton, while a white guy drives into her…

I guess I’ll never understand “fashion”. Why would you go out and get this dress knowing full well everybody else will be rockin’ the same thing, something similar or the knock-off. It’s called “STYLE” people. Then again, these posts would become unnecessary. I guess it’s good for something.
nahhhh, I’m with you. AS I’ve said one thousand times, I don’t get this thing with the dress… The man has several styles, why is everbody wearing the same length, make? And, next season body hugging silhouettes will be the thing, so I really hope this is the end of this style… I don’t get it, either… And, I’m all about fashion…

To be honest with you all as much as I love “Mya” she didn’t really rock like how as I expected, and as for Golden, ……………, (umm yea no comment), but when it comes to the designer Herve Leger, his dresses seem to be better fitted in women who have a full figure to bring out the beauty of the dress, but the funny thing is, is that celebrities such as Rihanna have DEFINATLEY rocked his dresses way better…..any ways yea just had to get that out there.
