The 2007 Vh1 Hip Hop Honors Concert and Awards took place last night at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Some of today’s top artists in Rap & R&B performed tributes to Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg, A Tribe Called Quest, along with many more great artists and eras of Hip Hop.

Phife has Type 2 diabetes that he’s been trying to control for a few years now. I hadn’t seen him in a while, but he looks like he might be on dialysis now. He has lost a lot of weight and didn’t say much last night.
