Yes, her voice is so freakin AMAZING!! I been up on her for a while. She has a lot of songs on youtube (and if u still wanna hear something listen to background vocals on Fantasia’s “Free Yourself”).

Her voice is compared to more gospel artists than anything (like Kim Burrell). But for someone so young, you will be speechless at her runs, the control, and the grit of her voice. I think she’s gonna help bring REAL R&B back, not this pop shake-ya-booty-in-the-club mess.

You guys who mentioned Fantasia not being properly promoted by JRecords, I want you to be confident of this one thing Fantasia is really doing better than anyone could ever imagine, that’s all I can say at this point and she is so, so grateful. In doing TCP she humble herself stayed out of the spotlight for a season worked very hard put up with very harsh hatred and criticism mostly form this site and abuse of her daughter (who also will surprise all of you), she is with her mother in the theatre for a very good reason..(smile). By the way JRecords (Clive Davis has stuck by her and he loves her) and maybe it was some of hate people she worked with who hated her and sabotaged her whom I won’t mention. This industry is sick.

Jazmine Sullivan is definitely the truth. I absolutely love her voice. And I knew that Clive Davis was going to scoop her up, but he better treat her right and actually put her music out there because he’s notorious for putting people on the shelf. The only artist on his label that gets top treatment is Alicia Keys, so I hope that he sees the talent in Jazmine, also.

But, I also love her version of “Resentment,” Now Beyonce did her thing on that song as well, but Jazmine did her “Grown Woman Thang” on that song.

It’s okay, I kind of agree with the other poster. I live in the ATL, and I kind of heard someomore stuff about the TI drama last night and I am not doing to good this weekend. Godd that they have posted another new artist. I will say this Beyonce has never sounded this good. (She has some integrity issues as far as I am concerned).
Right now there is only one young lady I strongly support right about now, because I am tired and my Mom said something yesterday she said watch what I tell you more mess is going to come out the closet both on male and female singers because she said you all are worshipping these young singers and not God and I was reading the post and they mention a standing ovation and I said I wondered whenthe last time any of us gave God a standing ovation. I am going to church this Sunday and not to the clubs this weekend and going to listen to some Kelly Price,Fantasia , Fred Hammond and JMoss and get my praise on.

Her voice is nice but you can go to most any black baptist church with a halfway decent minister of music in the U.S.A on any given Sunday and hear the same and even more talented singing than what is currently being passed off as real vocal talent in the industry. Good luck to her and and I hope the trend of real vocalists continues on this path…because it’s missed and much needed!

Phyllis Hyman. That’s who she reminds me of with her rich tone. Her voice isn’t very powerful in the upper register but she oozes soul and emotion. I enjoyed this and can’t wait to hear more.
