I think what gets to me most is that he slipped under the radar as far as being a racist goes. I had my initial questions concerning whether he could be due to the lack of blacks or other minorities in his home or at personal gatherings that were filmed and well hell he was an ex biker from colorado who did jail time. considerng that and the time he grew up in and im sure theres a big history of racism in his family.

I was reading the comments on the A&E sight and all the white people were saying well black people say it so why can’t we? The change has gotta start with us people. Get that word out of your vocab because everyone thinks it is ok to say. Not all black people use the word but that is what people are hearing in our music. Dog got caught and he was wrong, but this just lets me see how wrong other things are in our society today.

For some reason people think if rappers stop saying the word or our race as a whole then white people would stop saying it. Are we stupid or what? Do we know where this word originated from? Trust me…white people will forever use that word. It’s like we are being stupid in thinking if we stop then they will too. We didn’t call our people this from the jump..we took the word and flipped it. If Hip Hop wasn’t so prevalent right now people wouldn’t give a ish what we called each other. Too many black folk getting rich right now and now the true feelings of some are coming to light. For instance Michael Richards (Kramer) when he went on his tirade..he used the word out of hatred. He could have said look at this guy in the balcony…he looks like a fool or whatever. But no..he uses the N word because that’s how he truly feels. Some rappers or just black folk in general are more like..what’s up my N. Or N plz something like that. Not trying insult or degrade an individual. When a white person uses that word they are using it in intent to degrade or try to hurt. Stop trying to say because black people use it then they should be able to as well. Remember folks this is going on 500 or more yrs when we were enslaved for no reason. We didnt enslave white people and then start calling them crackers, white bread or whatever. We are still behind to this day…I always feel when I’m listening to a song or say a black comedian and they use the word it takes the edge off because it’s coming from us.

Don’t fall into the trap America is learning that when it does something wrong to Black America a good way to change the focus of Black America is blame the youth i.e. Hip Hop.
