I’ve been receiving many emails about this latest trend of leather or black shiny tights. Leggings have been a substitute for pants for a while now, some favor the look and some really hate it. So I guess leather or lame tights will receive the same reaction, either you like it or you don’t. I personally think the look is hot when it is maneuvered correctly, plus if you want to do the tights in the winter weather, these could be a better option.
Stars have even been fans of the tights lately as we’ve seen recently on Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Keyshia Cole, and Lauren London. Though the ladies rock the tights in different ways, it commonly adds a rocker flair to their looks.
So you sold on a pair? A great pair to start with if you want this look would have to be the Lamé Legging at American Apparel (pictured above).

I love those leggings. The first time I remember seeing them was on Ciara. She’s rocking them on one of the pics from her CD. I know it’s an old look but she was one of the first to bring them back.
They look nice on all the ladies. You have to have the right body type and ensemble to pull it off though. My legs are too skinny, so this wouldn’t look right on me……just imagine baggy leggings

I bought a pair in gold….lol. But I get A LOT of compliments on them, from men and women. And someone was wondering how to wash them. I hand-wash mine (in cold) and hang them to dry.

I like this look But I only like them in black or a dark color, and it’s not for everyone either. My husband wants me to get some but I’m like were is my grown azz wearing them LOL I will say my lil sister has something like them she wore to club and she looked cute but she’s 19 and I’m 29 with a daughter so hey. Oh but maybe I will get some to wear for my husband during out date nights. LOL
those things look like fitted hefty bags wrapped around their legs. leggings are so 80s. seeing them things regain popularity makes me wanna break out my neon pink and green la gears and blast my please hammer don’t hurt em tape lol. i’m just not feeling the look at all but more power to those who love them
I agree, when done correctly they look good. However, I personally wouldn’t make this fashion statement. Not a big fan of the leggings unless necessary, meaning under a pair of jeans in the winter.
I bought a pair from summer, so i will be pulling them back out with some sexy shoes..And #3. All fashion was once fashion already.. It just rotates and what was once old just comes back years later. Look at how big retro got this year! High waisted/skinny jeans, platform shoes, big sunglasses, high top sneakers.. u name it!
THe look good on all the ladies pictured above. However, everybody can’t pull them off and I’m sure some folks that shouldn’t even put a foot in them will be wearing them…lol
I luv this look….. but its especially hot the way Keysia Cole rocked it. I will be looking for me some really soon and a real cute top that will bring it all together. I recently saw that leather pants were trying to make its way back this Fall but I would prefer the leggings anyday.

These leggings should come with a warning label, and only in certain sizes. Most people shouldn’t try this at home, and lawd knows we don’t need to see these on anybody over a certain size.

I like them, The leggins are not for everyone but they are workable. keish coles is a hit or miss when it comes to fashion sometimes she looks very nice and sometimes she jsut ooks liek she woke up.
