It good to see two black people happy. I have been trying to figure out for the longest why there is such extreme hateful comments towards this woman and Usher. What did they do wrong to you all? I know this is a gossip site at heart but some of these comments ring to be a little more than light-hearted critiquing. I have to say as a grown woman who has always dated younger men (before it became popular) I would truly love to know why that’s an issue. I’ve dealt with them because they like me. Halle Berry is having a baby with a younger man and Janet Jackson dates one but people act like either Tameka is 50 or Usher is 16. C’mon it’s so obvious this has more to do with our self-hatred that his man has married a brown-skinned women who had some kids before. People leave husband all the time and no one knows why. What I am about to say may sound shallow as hell, but who cares.
If I had a child from a previous relationship, and then later got with someone that wanted to provide for me, take me places and , give me things that I probably couldn’t afford myself, please believe my child will be right there reaping the benefits also, and that is the honest truth. Because I look at it like this: if you want me in your life doing all these great things with you, then you have to accept the fact the my child will be there to, and you have to willing to accept that.

Each day the internet is full of pictures of black celebrities, athletes, etc, who choose women who are white, light bright almost white or any other ethnicity. Tameka is a very beautiful woman and I am of the opinion that those of you who criticize Tameka, have issues with self hatred brought upon us as a race during slavery times. I don’t know Usher from anything other than his music and videos. I am just a self-confident grown woman that respects the black family and marriage. Sure I enjoy reading the blogs like anyone else, but that is where it ends. To make complete determination about a person’s behavior based on something you don’t know for sure and over analyze pictures is disturbing. Its amazing how the color of your skin determines if you are ugly or cute. I mean, its sickening how ignorant a lot of us African-Americans are. If Tameka was simply ‘dipped’ in a vanilla color, or maybe a light caramel, no one would call her ugly. Its sooo many lighter-skinned women who can be ugly as hell, but no one comes down on them or really calls them ugly because they are what is looked at first, and thats the accepted complexion.
