Larenz is very underrated as an actor. He is VERY good at what he does. I wish he would stop getting casted like his characters in waist deep, menance to society and Crash. Dont get me wrong, his delivery was excellent in those roles but i would love to see his more versatile work such as what he did in Love Jones, Dead Presidents, Why Do Fools and The Inkwell. He can do it all, and Hollywood needs to stop sleeping on Larenz Tate–I have always said that.
