I see your point. I had no idea they talked so poorly of Monica.

I hope Halle didn’t get onsatage and advocate it’s ok to pick a sperm donors, but at the same time it’s not like she hasn’t given the American Dream a shot. It didn’t work for her and she wanted to have a child. As long as both parties know their roles in raising the child everything should be ok. Lots of decent people come from broken homes/marriages.

I think people leave Halle alone (compared to Monica) because she’s been through it twice and it didn’t work out. What people don’t understand about Mo, is that she’ been engaged for years, has a child with her fiance, and still no wedding. Now out of all the un-married mothers we have in our neighborhoods, schools, churches and our relatives, approximately about %65 of America have single mothers and yet we try to make a bride out of Halle. Naomi C. is beautiful as well, but her attitude sucks, which takes away from her physical beauty. I think Halle being beautiful is not only because of her physical appearance, but she seems like a good person, you can’t put make-up and hair weave on a persons spirit, that has to shine from within. Every time I see someone in that industry on T.V they have nothing but great things to say about her, so being beautiful is more then just about the physical appearance. I’m just saying.

Why aren’t people upset that he’s a WHITE man? Not that I am, but in reading these blogs for some time now, one can’t help but notice ANYTIME a brother has a white girl on his arm he’s crucified! Kids be pretty and all, but sisters don’t be giving a dam when it’s a brother. Man they rip that woman a new one, criticizing everything from her hair to her toes, to her motives. And the brothers get no slack either. They get called weak, stupid and everything else.

Recently Polo The Don said he “liked” white women and we almost had a Jena 6 moment on here. Sister rose up and tore him a new one. We know that this is the case whenever a brother marries or dates a white woman, although I’ve noticed some slack for those who date Latinas or Asians. But let a brother be on Oprah with a white woman and sisters will say “No, No, No!” like Amy Winehouse.

Makes no differents to me what another man choses, but in a brother’s quest to understand Black women, I can’t help but notice the double-standard. An just because she had two failed marriages with brothers, doesn’t give her a pass, or does it? I think that what Halle meant is that a ceremony and a ring does not equal commitment. if two people love and care about each other then they are bond together. everyone knows that a piece of paper does not keep people from cheating or being abusive to their spouse. she was in two “committed” relationships and neither one of those guys treated her like a wife. Good for Halle - she didn’t get discouraged after 35 negative tests - that’s resolve! She sure has “popped out” to be only a few months along though.

My questions isn’t whether the two cases are equal, but that sisters scream when brothers (not jus Polow) date white women. I agree with most of the comments…My point regarding her being pregnant is this- whether people,celebrities or not, have had a child out of wedlock or remained virgins until they are married is not the norm in society. The majority of society fornicate and do all sorts of things that are sins in God’s eyes one sin is not bigger than the other. No one cares about living according to God’s will and those who do or try to will surely tell you it is a daily struggle. If Halle and Gabriel have such a spiritual connection then why not give marriage a try. He’s good enough to sleep with and make a baby, why not marry him.

Maybe it has to do with the way the woman treats him. Maybe women from others races simply deal with them as individuals and not as birthrites. There is nowhere in the scriptures where pre-marital sex is mentioned in and of itself because a phenomenon like that didn’t and still doesn’t exist. It was known as whoring or whoremongering. If a man engaged in intercourse with a woman prior to the official marriage ceremony, i.e. Joseph and Mary, she became your wife (Gen 2:24, Matt 19:4-6, etc.). If a man has wanton “casual sex” with numerous women he is a whoremonger (Eph 5:5, I Tim 1:10, Heb 13:4, Rev 21:8, Rev 22:15). If a woman has wanton casual sex with numerous men she is a whore (Lev 19:29, Lev 21:7, Lev 21:9, Prov 23:27, Ezek 16:25, Amos 7:17, etc.). Simple as that. The confusion comes because people are trying to qualify the Word of the Lord with this society (I Cor 10:21). My point is they DO say something about it! On here all day everyday. Trust me, I’ve seen it and wonder why. Love IS where you find it and I believe it trancends color lines. I lived in Germany for almost five years. At first, sisters were acting all stuck up like they did in America (mostly Amercan girls), but once a brother stated dating Latinas, Brits and Germans (some were black, some were white), the sisters started coming in groves. Some had even said that they saw me with a “white” girl and didn’t like it. I had come to find out that many of them wanted me to run an extra mile or take an extra step to date them, but when I didn’t they came to me rather than let me look happy with anyone of a different race. What blew it for me personally, was the fact that although we sized up well in the bedroom, many could not identify with the Black struggle, particularly in America, because of course, they weren’t America. So on civil rights issues, I was speaking a different language, literally. So, it was a trun off to some point that some didn’t know what I had come from, and naturally I thought they couldn’t assist me in getting to where I needed to go. After returning to America, it felt good to know that black women I dated actually identified with me better and therefore made the relationships better. Needless to say, I married a black woman and have children. When I explore my thoughts as to what I personally find attractive in sisters, I would have to say their bodies. Not discounting their minds (we know how brilliant they can be), but black women have bodies like they made it up. Not just talking in a sexual way either. The way they look in clothes. Their shades. The fact she can hair like India today and Beyonce tomorrow is like getting more than one woman. I like the way my girl calls me her “n*gga” when we’re playing around (I know it’s corny), but no other race can say it to me without me second looking at her ass.. Even if you get a stacked white girl or latina, her assets are still compared to a sister. Plus, I can’t speak for no other, but black love is a MoFo and looks and feels good. The Lord also allowed Boaz to intermarry with Ruth because she was the carrier of Obed, the grandfather of David. Whenever you see the Lord allow interracial marriage in the scripture, it’s an extreme exception that will play out later on. If that’s not the case, why did the Lord stipulate in his law that we were not supposed to intermarry with the other races (Deut 7:3). Paul himself said that his hope was for the ISRAELITES (Acts 26:6,7, Acts 28:20, Rom 9:3-5) Let’s get this understood, the Bible from start to finish is a saga concerning God’s Chosen race of people, the Israelites (Ex 19:5,6, Psa 147:19,20, Amos 3:1, Matt 15:24). What scripture does Christ state that the laws of Moses were done away with (I Thes 5:21)? As a matter of fact, Christ says that the laws of Moses are FOREVER, so that’s another lie you’ve told (Matt 5:17-19). As a matter of even more biblical facts, Christ said that to believe in him, you MUST believe in the laws of Moses (John 5:45-47). If the laws of Moses were done away with, why is Christ called the Word of the Lord and the scripture states that he came in the “volume” of the book, meaning the entire Bible (Heb 10:7). Christ was the voice that emanated from in between the cherubim and directed the Israelites in their wars against the other nations and killed the Israelites in the wilderness (Psa 80:1, I Cor 10:1-10). He is also the one that killed all the firstborn of the Egyptians before the exodus as read in the Apocrypha. So that’s another lie you’ve told. No disrespect to you sis, but I don’t play with this Word in any way, shape, or form and neither should you. You so-called Christians cop out on the Old Testament because it’s too laborious to read, to you, and you cannot comprehend the parables or the prophecies (Prov 26:7, Isaiah 29:11-13, Mic 3:5-7, Matt 13:10,11).

Where in the Bible does it state that fornication is pre-marital sex? None of those scriptures that you gave indicate fornication as pre-marital sex because there is no thing as pre-marital sex. Save the church confusion for someone else. Fornication is sexual wickedness; pertaining to adultery, pedophilia, masturbation, homosexuality, bestiality, whoremongering, and whoring. That’s it. When you read the laws of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, there is nothing that tells you that fornication is pre-marital sex. You’re confusing man’s definition for words for the Lord’s definition for words. The laws stipulate judgements against all those things that fall under the umbrella of fornication. The only judgement for pre-marital sex is that the woman becomes your wife (Ex 22:16,17). That’s how you know that pre-marital sex is not fornication.

The Bible also tells us that a woman is not supposed to wear pants (Deut 22:5) but that law was probably done away with right? What’s funny about you so-called Christians is that you’ll quote the Old Testament in a minute if it feeds into your vain doctrine. Now in regards to you citing Heb 9:15, you only cut yourself, again. The scripture tells us that the new testament was needed for the “transgressions under the first testament…” (Isa 44:21,22). Now who was the first testament and covenant made with sis? Who? The Israelites (Ex 24th chapter, Psa 147:19,20). Christ was necessary to redeem the Israelites from the sins that they had committed under the original covenant with the Most High (Matt 1:21, Matt 2:6, Acts 5:31). In the same book that you cited, the book of Hebrews, Paul tells us the the New Covenant is for the Israelites (Heb 8:8). The only people that could sin under the old laws were the people that the laws were given to (I John 3:4). The laws were only given to the Israelites (Lev 1:1, Psa 147:19,20, Amos 3:1). I mean, it’s so damn clear.

Sis, I’ve never ignored any scripture. As a matter of fact, not only do I address the scriptures that you bring out, but I also explain them, expound on them, and give additional scriptures and historicity to the best of my ability. You do not answer or respond to any scriptures that I bring out because you can’t. You choose to ignore the scriptures that state that a woman cannot teach (I Tim 2:12-14), plus many other scriptures. It is what it is. You have no scriptural or historical knowledge of the Old Testament (Matt 22:29). It’s like if you only saw the second half of a movie, how can I respect your review (Isa 34:16)?

The scriptures tell us that the ADOPTION pertains to the Israelites (Rom 9:3-5). Just in your breakdown of John 1:12, it shows your lack of understanding. John 1:12 was an allusion to Hosea 1:10 sis. The scriptures are clear that Christ came and died for the sins of the Israelites (Matt 2:6, Acts 5:31). You can’t get any clearer than that. When the scripture in John 1:12 says, “as many as received him…” it’s referring to those amongst the ISRAELITES that received him because that’s all that Christ came for (Matt 15:24). When you read the gospels, there were Israelites that believed on Christ and those that didn’t, just like today (John 7:12, John 10:19). It’s already inclusive that you must be of the seed, but everyone of the seed is not anointed to grasp this Word. That’s what Paul was referring to in Rom 9:6-11. As a matter of fact, the book of Acts and Romans the entire 9th chapter shows us that the Israelites were whom Paul went to (Acts 26:6,7,23, Acts 28:20, Rom 10:1, ad infinitum). The seed of Jacob was always stressed and the scripture states that it is the seed that will inherit the kingdom (Psalms 22:23,30, Isaiah 45:25, Isaiah 46:3, Ezek 20:5, Psa 126:6, literally too many to cite). This is why Christ said that he must separate the “wheat from the tares”. He’s referring to the Israelites that must be taken out of all nations (Isaiah 10:20,21, Isaiah 11:11, Ezek 28:25, Amos 9:8,9, Zech 8:7,8, etc.). It’s funny that you cite Jeremiah 12:16 because the scripture states that if the other nations learn how to stop teaching the Israelites about Baal, they will be allowed to worship in the midst of Israel. Now if Deut 7:1-6 s talking about “nonbeliever”, lol, then why did Nehemiah cite the same scripture when the men and women of Israel started to intermarry with the Moabites, Ammonites, and the people of Ashdod (Neh 13:23-27).
