I remember the first time I saw this was after I had left school and me and a few friends went to a club where they were showing it for the first time. It really scared me then. Especially when I got home and was at the front door trying to look for my key and everywhere was dark, I kept thinking about the video. My favourite parts are the bit when he turns into the werewolf and also the end when he turns round and the laughing. I also like the bit when vincent is doing the rhyme. Some parts are still a bit scary to watch but it was good video.
This is back pre-BET era. When a brotha had to watch “Jump” and “Hungry Like the Wolf” videos a million times hoping to catch this video in it’s entirety. Classic!!!
If theres a better music video out here than this, and its not by an artist whose last name is Jackson, it ain’t right.

I loved the Making of Thriller. Me, my auntie and sister music of watched that 10 times. I used to love the part where they show the metamorphism (sp) sheets, and putting that glob thingamabob on Michael…I don’t know why, but I thought it looked sexy LOL. And when he was trying on those werewolf teeth, and making those faces in the mirror.

Glad to see i’m not the only adult that is still a little scared of this video….I think the whole video is scary. The part where the zombies follow her in the house and corner her and when Michael turns into a werewolf are the scariest parts to me….

Classic, this was huge back in the day, i remember my old Elementary school in NYC down ENY Brooklyn, they actually had us in the Auditorium and premiered the video (i guess thats what they were doing) all on the big projector.and everything.. brings back memories…

Everytime that video came on I used to spend hours in front of the tv trying to learn every move when I was little. Shoot I still get up and rock when that video comes on. #73, Ola Ray was seen last a year ago or so, claiming that Michael never paid her her money for Thriller talking about shes getting her people to sue him. What else is new? LOL. So you just remembered after two decades you was never paid? Damn, why people stay trying to stick MJ for his paper.
The only other thing I know about Ola Ray was that she was Playboy cover in 1980.

-He started big production Music videos
-He started high profile album releases. He actually waited about 3-5 years in between albums so he would not overexpose himself. So when his album finally would come out it would sell like crazy because people missed him. Artist nowadays come out with albums every year.
-He started big endorsement deals with singers
His last album Invincible actually went doulble platinum in the US and sold 10 million around the world. It did this with only one big music video.
Michael Jackson is truly the singer to ever sign a recording contract.
They’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of Thriller with a remix CD and Ebony cover (Nov 12th).
Man this video brings back so many memories of happier, simpler times when I was a mear 4 or 5 years old…I remember when I would come in the house & @ times throughout the day I could get like a feeling or 6th sense when this video would be on TV as soon as I cut it on! It was so wierd too b/c it was only this video I remember so vividly…(those were the days!)
