Usually we don’t post too much on Karrine Steffans a.k.a Supahead, but when we finally listened to this interview she recently did on Jamie Foxx’s “The Foxxhole” Sirius radio show – we had to share our laughter. Karrine and Jamie openly discuss many topics, but the most interesting had to do with former BET host Big Tigger.
Basically, Steffans said that she witnessed Tigger in a rather questionable situation and engaged in sex with another man. This isn’t the first time she has said this I believe. Tigger later called in to the radio station and had a one on one with Supahead. All in all, it makes for great entertainment this Monday morning so, take a listen (with headphones).
Rumors have now been flying on the internet that Tigger is considering a lawsuit. Meanwhile, Karrine has been going at DJs for calling her Supahead – yet she doesn’t mind wearing a tank that says so. Exactly why we don’t acknowledge “Chlamydia”…

First of all, this is a blog & we are all entitled to share our opinions here. Secondly, I don’t have to justify what I have, but I am VERY far from a “have-not.” What I am, though, is a realist. When I say ‘honest money’ I don’t even have to necessarily be talking about people in show business (because they are not the only people in the world making money), but what about that girl that is busting her butt working two jobs in order to go to college? Or that person that worked breakfast, lunch and dinner in order to start their own business to ensure that their children will be able to live a better life? I have friends who (before she was born) both of her parents were on drugs, living out of a car and now her father has a great job, lives in the best neighborhood in town driving the nicest cars. And he did all of that HONASTLY. That’s what I mean. So I don’t buy Karrines “I did what I had to do to survive” logic. She did what she did because women like that are lazy. I don’t think I have to be looking at the world through “rose colored glasses” to see that there is a difference. You can even look at the example in the Will Smith movie about Chris Garner (The pursuit of happiness), that is a prime example of someone “doing what he had to do to survive” and take care of his son. There are single mothers everywhere that “do what they have to do to survive” and none of that includes opening their legs. After I read her book, I realized that I’ve read about “Karrine” before. Her face and individual details of her life may vary from others, but her background is the same as many top porn stars. It’s all there: the extreme neglect of her parents, violent beatings, rape, abuse and mental cruelty. All done to her before the age of 16. Jenna Jameson (#1 porn star) has a similar background and biography.
Look a bit deeper at this book (forget about all the glamour and the videos and hip-hop stars for a second). What do we learn here? We learn that if families and friends devalue and abuse young girls and cause them to hate themselves and their own bodies, you can virtually guarantee a future stripper, hooker, or porn star. Why? Because she’s been taught all her life that she’s stupid, she’s unlovable, and she’s a waste, except for her mouth and the private part between her legs. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that she uses it to get things in life.
