I have been told by several people that they were robbed and killed for their studio equipment. Such a shame to take a life over that. The studio was also robbed in monday and Kool-Aid had reported it. Lala was a friend of mine and I jsut can’t get over this.
People are unable to post comments on her page because she has it set to approve them before posting and obviously since she is dead she is unable to approve them. I hope these killers are found but its not lookin to good they have no leads or suspects.

I think we as a people need to get together and insight a change. Im tired of the violence and crimes against our own. Im tired of it being glorified. We need to take a stand. I see most on this board feel the same way. Lets make a difference, maybe we can start an orginization or movement, that lets the world know, the street violence and sensless killings must stop.

P.S. If they can make the “stop snitchin” campaign a movement,

I knew the both of them from high school and I just hugged and spoked to La La two weeks prior, my heart is broken because this young woman had dreams and drive to make it happen and it took awhile before she even got where she was headed. I’m going to pay my respects this Wednesday and remember our cool ass conversations and may God protect her daughter as she grows up…R.I.P to the both of them

I heard about this on the weekend but I didn’t believe it since I couldn’t see a reliable source and her myspace page had no recent comments. That’s SO SAD, she had a really beautiful voice and to this day I still bump the song she has with Lyfe. R.I.P Lala and her boyfriend. May they rest in peace.

Here is what I think happened…

1. The young man she was dating may have had one of those mya types on the side- she may have found him and La La in the studio and blasted them.

2. A hatin ass muh-fucka (who knew of La Las success and the possible come up her man could have been blessed with) killed em out of jealousy.

Yea this is so heart breaking.. The mother of his children (son and unborn son) is taking this so hard.. This is crazy.. The both of them were very loved in Milwaukee.. It was said that Monday the studio was robbed.. Then he filled a police report.. Then his brother found them Friday night.. They had been dead for at least a day or so.. This is so crazy and heart breaking to our community.. Koo-Laid was so talented.. And his son loved him so much.. If he wasn’t around he was always talking about “Where is my daddy?” and “I want my daddy!!” Now it’s so hard to answer him the fact that he wont ever see his daddy because of some no good ass M*** F***!!!!

Damn, I didn’t know Lala died till today or dat much about her utha than Lyfe’s S.E.X. R.I.P., U were so young.

Black folks need to stop killin Black folks over petty shit (money, drugs, jealous-ass ex, etc.) or else Black folks gon end up extinct.

They need to get to the bottom of this and arrest whoever is responsible. I would like to kno why they did it. It seems so senseless. What could they have been involved in to get murdered. Has to be alot more behind this story. My condolencses to her daughter and family.

And what bothers me even more is that I’m noticing that its nothing but my young black people out here commiting senseless crime acts toward each other! This has to come to an end! We are killing and wiping out our whole race! These two young people had their whole future ahead of them, and promising futures at that! Two beautiful and taleneted young people dreams just cut short! WHY? i really do hope and I pray that they catch whoever commited such and horrible and senseless crime. This girl had a child that she was trying to make a better future for, and Jetannue did too! Y’all really need to come to your senses man today! I can’t deal with seeing and hearing about one more young person losing their life! This is the worst Milwaukee has ever been. We as the people need to stand up and take a stand for our town, because the way things are going its not going to get better, and it won’t get better unless we do something!
