This is downright ridiculous. It hurts my heart to read/hear something like this. My prayers go out to both families and I pray that any and all individuals involved in these crime are arrested, charged and punished to the fullest extent of the law. This is why we need to get these guns off the streets and show our young people that using guns as a means to gain power and respect is nothing more than a false ideal. I’m so sick and tired of these senseless acts of violence due to someone thinking that the only way he/she can resolve an issue is by using a gun to threaten, injure or kill someone. Sure, it will help if some celebrities wouldn’t glorify the “gangsta” image, but what would be more helpful is communities, organizations and churches coming together and reaching out, educating, motivating and instilling values of respect and esteem for onesself and others. This is so disturbing to hear about. I am a young african american woman who lives in Milwaukee, and Ms. Brown was one of two women murdered over the last several days. Milwaukee is an extremely segregated city where black folks shoot and kill each other almost every night. The black on black crime rate here is unbelieveable. There is also virtually no black middle class…just poor people preying on other poor people who don’t have much. Ms. Brown was actually one of the few success stories that had come out of this community. My prayers are with her family. She didn’t deserve to die the way she did. I agree with Bill Cosby…I love my people, but a lot of times, we are our own worst enemy.

I HATE hearing news like this. Regardless of whether she was pretty or not, this was a talented individual who some jealous asshole took from this world. You never know what she could have brought to the world, what impact she could have made with her talents, and know she is gone, just like that.
