R.I.P to LaLa and JeTannue i send my prayers out to their families!

Seriously people we have got to stop all this killing. I dont care who you are or where your from or what someone did to you…you will never have the right to take someone elses life away. And i hope who ever did has to live with the guilt forever. LIke LaLa’s uncle said we need to uplift our children and teach them that violence is not the answer and it never will be. No matter what race or age you are this is a lesson that everyone needs to learn.

This troubles me greatly! So young, such a beautiful girl, gone just like that. It really hurts to see young people getting murdered and the fact that she has a daughter that will never get the chance to know who her mom is , is just gut wrenching. Everylittle girl needs her Mother. This just makes my head spin. What gives ANYONE the right to take someones life! This MUST STOP! I can’t take this anymore. Too many of us are dying and as a black women this just hurts me to the core. Even though I do not personally know people who have been murdered, it does not matter becaue we are black we ARE ONE! and when I hear of OUR and I emphazie our it really doee affect my soul. PLEASE…PLEASE…PLEASE STOP the killings.

This is a horrible end to two beautiful futures…For someone to take the lives of two people or anyones life for that matter is a tragic within itself..I refuse to believe that people are so heartless.. But yet EVERYDAY I’m proved wrong.. To kill your own people…To look a person in the eyes with the intentions of harming them I will never understand..How wrong has that person done you or what is it that the person did not do to you…Or for you…What is it that they would not give you that would make you take a life…How dare anyone who does not create beauty Destroy it..We need to get it together period..Not a Black thing or a white thing or a racial thing…People of every color and every race is dying..YOUNG and the main reason…NO REASON AT ALL.. have always read concrete loop and never posted and felt the need too…I Can only pray that LaLa and JeTannue Rest In Peace..god Bless the families as they struggle through the lost of their loved ones…

this is a very sad & tragic story, what’s the most upsetting is that she was killed not by an accident like Aaliyah & Left Eye, but by someone else taking her life by choice, it was murder. So sad that something like this would happen, It hurts to hear that such a incident would happen but things like that just happen in life. Karma will come around someday for the killers. I am from Milwaukee and I personally knew La La we were actually working on a song I wrote for her called ‘So Serious’. I spoke with her Wednesday about hooking up, but I never heard anything else from her. It’s still unbelievable to me because she was actually living in ATL, but came up here to holla at her peoples’ and whatever. This is very unfortunate. She has a beautiful 4yr old daughter and was really getting ready to do her thang musically. Coming out of Milwaukee - we all were happy for her. God wanted to take her home so that’s what happened. My thoughts and prayers goes out to her daughter Amirrah, her mother, father, family and countless friends….
We need to stop killing eachother - its ridiculous…

I have been told by several people that they were robbed and killed for their studio equipment. Such a shame to take a life over that. The studio was also robbed in monday and Kool-Aid had reported it. Lala was a friend of mine and I jsut can’t get over this.
People are unable to post comments on her page because she has it set to approve them before posting and obviously since she is dead she is unable to approve them. I hope these killers are found but its not lookin to good they have no leads or suspects.

I think we as a people need to get together and insight a change. Im tired of the violence and crimes against our own. Im tired of it being glorified. We need to take a stand. I see most on this board feel the same way. Lets make a difference, maybe we can start an orginization or movement, that lets the world know, the street violence and sensless killings must stop.

I knew the both of them from high school and I just hugged and spoked to La La two weeks prior, my heart is broken because this young woman had dreams and drive to make it happen and it took awhile before she even got where she was headed. I’m going to pay my respects this Wednesday and remember our cool ass conversations and may God protect her daughter as she grows up…R.I.P to the both of them

I heard about this on the weekend but I didn’t believe it since I couldn’t see a reliable source and her myspace page had no recent comments. That’s SO SAD, she had a really beautiful voice and to this day I still bump the song she has with Lyfe. R.I.P Lala and her boyfriend. May they rest in peace.

Here is what I think happened…

1. The young man she was dating may have had one of those mya types on the side- she may have found him and La La in the studio and blasted them.

Or

2. A hatin ass muh-fucka (who knew of La Las success and the possible come up her man could have been blessed with) killed em out of jealousy.

Yea this is so heart breaking.. The mother of his children (son and unborn son) is taking this so hard.. This is crazy.. The both of them were very loved in Milwaukee.. It was said that Monday the studio was robbed.. Then he filled a police report.. Then his brother found them Friday night.. They had been dead for at least a day or so.. This is so crazy and heart breaking to our community.. Koo-Laid was so talented.. And his son loved him so much.. If he wasn’t around he was always talking about “Where is my daddy?” and “I want my daddy!!” Now it’s so hard to answer him the fact that he wont ever see his daddy because of some no good ass M*** F***!!!!

Damn, I didn’t know Lala died till today or dat much about her utha than Lyfe’s S.E.X. R.I.P., U were so young.

Black folks need to stop killin Black folks over petty shit (money, drugs, jealous-ass ex, etc.) or else Black folks gon end up extinct.

They need to get to the bottom of this and arrest whoever is responsible. I would like to kno why they did it. It seems so senseless. What could they have been involved in to get murdered. Has to be alot more behind this story. My condolencses to her daughter and family.
