I am so sad and still am i really like la la she was a nice person. I grew up and went to school with kool aid. he was my bestfriend just as well as my brother. I remember the last time i saw him he let me listen to a song that la la and him made it had a really nice beat and her voice was amazing. i am so sad and my heart hurts everytime i read about it and look on the news. First off I just want to say R.I.P to both of them. It’s sad and I’m so tired of hearing about all of this violence here in my home town! I guess this really gets to me because I actually went to the Milwaukee High School of the Arts with Yolanda aka LaLa and I also knew JaTannue. Once again I’m sadden by these senseless acts of violence that these people are constantly doing. I’m ashamed and embrassed to say that I’m even from Milwaukee because of all the crime and violence that has been going on. And what bothers me even more is that I’m noticing that its nothing but my young black people out here commiting senseless crime acts toward each other! This has to come to an end! We are killing and wiping out our whole race! These two young people had their whole future ahead of them, and promising futures at that! Two beautiful and taleneted young people dreams just cut short! WHY? i really do hope and I pray that they catch whoever commited such and horrible and senseless crime. This girl had a child that she was trying to make a better future for, and Jetannue did too! Y’all really need to come to your senses man today! I can’t deal with seeing and hearing about one more young person losing their life! This is the worst Milwaukee has ever been. We as the people need to stand up and take a stand for our town, because the way things are going its not going to get better, and it won’t get better unless we do something! Start in these homes and move foward, let your children know there are other soultions than killing! I send out my condolences and deepest sympathies to both JeTannue and Lala’s family. Keep God with you, keep him by your side at all times, call on his name to keep you strong at your time of mourning, and while your praying i’ll also be praying to keep you strong!

I live in Milwaukee and i never heard about that studio. It is alot of money hungry -grimmey people out here so it isn’t hard to believe. Jetaunne was a friend and co-worker of mine. Although I never met Lala, I know she was a good person and excellent singer. He spoke very fondly of her. It’s so sad when something like this happens, especially to such great people with such big hearts. I know their both in a better and more peaceful place right now. I was a friend of La La… she was a sweet person, always had a smile on her face, and I have never heard an angry word out of her. She was as beautiful inside as she was outside. Her voice was one that always cheered me up if i was in a sour mood, ’cause she always got me to singing right with her. She will deeply missed…my prayers are with her daughter, her family, friends, and anyone who has been blessed enough to make her acquaintance. I love u, La La!!!

This is a sad tragedy that happen. I just went through the killing of my best friend that was only 15 years old. He was hit by a truck because of a racist boy that didnt like blacks. Killing is not smething to be proud of and it hurts others that loved them. Hope that we can quit the voilence and begin to come as one and STOP THE VIOLENCE.
