This is downright ridiculous. It hurts my heart to read/hear something like this. This is so disturbing to hear about. I am a young african american woman who lives in Milwaukee, and Ms. Brown was one of two women murdered over the last several days. Milwaukee is an extremely segregated city where black folks shoot and kill each other almost every night. The black on black crime rate here is unbelieveable. There is also virtually no black middle class…just poor people preying on other poor people who don’t have much. Ms. Brown was actually one of the few success stories that had come out of this community. My prayers are with her family. She didn’t deserve to die the way she did. I agree with Bill Cosby…I love my people, but a lot of times, we are our own worst enemy.

I am from Milwaukee and I personally knew La La we were actually working on a song I wrote for her called ‘So Serious’. I spoke with her Wednesday about hooking up, but I never heard anything else from her. It’s still unbelievable to me because she was actually living in ATL, but came up here to holla at her peoples’ and whatever. This is very unfortunate. She has a beautiful 4yr old daughter and was really getting ready to do her thang musically. Coming out of Milwaukee - we all were happy for her. God wanted to take her home so that’s what happened. I have been told by several people that they were robbed and killed for their studio equipment. Such a shame to take a life over that. The studio was also robbed in monday and Kool-Aid had reported it. Lala was a friend of mine and I jsut can’t get over this.

Yea this is so heart breaking.. The mother of his children (son and unborn son) is taking this so hard.. This is crazy.. The both of them were very loved in Milwaukee.. It was said that Monday the studio was robbed.. Then he filled a police report.. Then his brother found them Friday night.. They had been dead for at least a day or so.. This is so crazy and heart breaking to our community.. Koo-Laid was so talented.. And his son loved him so much.. If he wasn’t around he was always talking about “Where is my daddy?” and “I want my daddy!!” Now it’s so hard to answer him the fact that he wont ever see his daddy because of some no good ass M*** F***!!!!

Damn, I didn’t know Lala died till today or dat much about her utha than Lyfe’s S.E.X. R.I.P., U were so young.

My heart goes out to Lala’s family but Im really hurt because JeTannue was my cousin who was also murdered. He was a great producer and that was his thing music. I remember when we were kids he would make beats off of his keyboard. That was his natural talent that is why he was known in milwaukee and was able to start pursuing his dream when he got his studio. He was so happy when he got all of his equipment i can remember the smile across his face. He was always smiling thats why we named him kool-aid. He had no enemies i mean this man never had a fight in his life. Thats all everyone talked about was how he was going to make it. I miss him and i love him. Eventhough this was a tragedy it made our family closer.
