T.I – who is currently behind bars, covers the November issue of Complex magazine. Inside he talked about everything from “American Gangster” to his fight with Ludacris’s manager Chaka Zulu.
On Luda’s Manager he smacked:
C: Have you seen [Ludacris’s manager] Chaka Zulu since you had an altercation with him back in June?
T.I: I’ve seen him, but I didn’t speak to him. That situation was whatever. If you come out your face and say something, then you can expect me to go off. You should watch your mouth. I think my manager spoke to him. I got a great life and wonderful children, and I do intend to be here to guide them for the rest of their lives, and that’s what’s most important to me. Maybe when I was 18 or 19 runnin’ the streets and shootin’ pistols, but I’m not gonna blow that for one of these cats who don’t happen to live by the same principles as me.
On how the streets have changed:
C: Is there a character in American Gangster you would parallel to your days in the trap?
T.I: I can’t even compare myself back in that day simply because it was a whole other day and age. When I was doin’ it, it was chaos. Real talk, it was easier then, too. Not taking nothing away from them ’cause they started it, but the police wasn’t hip to everything. By the time I started hustling, the police had cameras, the Internet, and forensics. [Back then] you could kill a nigga at six o’clock in the morning on his doorstep and long as nobody seen you, you good. Now you got cameras on street lights. I feel like if I was a hustler back then, I’d have a way better shot at it. People actually respected the game. Whereas when I was a hustler, a nigga would do anything for a dollar. Period.

I really think T.I is being setup!!! Did anyone see him on Punk’d? In that episode, T.I and his entourage boarded the plane. As all their bags were being loaded a dog started barking over one bag that belonged to T.I. The prank was that T.I was being blamed for carrying bullets that was planted. Anyway, you should have seen him. He was extremely cooperative and even rebuked a guy in his entourage for not being cooperative. Anytime he wanted to speak he raised his hands and at any time answered like “No, Sir” or “Yes, Sir”. Anyway, the point is that he made a comment once the bullets was brought to light. T.I said that he was on probation (I think for 17 years) and that he doesn’t carry guns and wouldn’t do anything like that. My point is T.I ain’t that stupid. Does everybody think every black man or rapper is stupid? T.I has a record and he knows better. They might be trying to find somebody and using him as bait holding a past issue against him. He probably doesn’t even have guns…where’s the proof? And I heard they came in his crib breaking windows and smashing the doors when they had him in his sight. They even threw tear gas in the room where his family was….dirty…T.I.’s locked up TI’s being set up
yeah ofcoarse it was a setup. It’s impossible for a convicted felon to to attempt to engage in illigal activity. T.I. is a political prisoner . *Does his best black concpiracy theorist impression* His only crime is being young…. black ….and famous in america. T.I was innocently was playing p-nuckle when the popo kicked the door in.

The saddest part is he IS an intelligent man…he just didn’t care and thought he was above the law, Tip knows right from wrong and what he should or shouldn’t do.
This just goes to show you God works in mysterious ways…if you think you are going to be running around living foul and then preaching about how you have become a different individual or how you are above foolishness it WILL catch up to you. Thats just as horrible as a pastor who preaches the word every Sunday and then gets caught picking up a prostitute off the street (ahem Mase anyone lol). The Lord does not bless mess…hopefully TI will stop playing with himself and get it together because life is not a game.

Also, I am a TI fan…been one such 2001 and I realize he is only human but he had bigger things to focus on, has been down this tedious road before and he has been very blessed. There are only so many chances or warnings a person can be given before all hell breaks loose.
