OK…..I went to a free screening of American Gangster….F’n Great movie….You HAVE to see,,,I saw it for free and will pay for it again on Nov 2!!!! Just enuf violence and equal part dialogue…..I gotta say it 1ce more….F’N GR8 MOVIE!!!!!!!
i cannot wait until this movie comes out,i am there day one,i guess this is the year for black movies,there used to be a shortage of all black casted movies,there was “daddys little girls” “pursuit of happyness”,”stomp the yard”,”why did i get married”,”i think i love my wife”,”this christmas” (chris brown joint) and that other holiday movie comin out with kat williams,thats a good look for our people.
We’ll all I can say is that everyone looks nice and as usual black don’t crack.
Denzel/ Pauletta, and Ruby Dee/ Ozzie Davis are perfect examples of soulmates and real love. Married people and wannabee married people should follow thier example. Shaq/Shaunie and half of hollywood take notes.
This is the first time I’ve seen Cuba Gooding Jr. out with his wife and he aint even posing with her. He acts like he’s not even married.
As for my boy T.I. keep your head up bro!

I’m so proud of DW and wife. Note to Usher: This is how u choose a wife. No one cares that Pauletta is Dark skined or not the runway model type. We love her reguardless. For the following reasons:

I am not going see this movie when it first comes out. That will be same week taht is is supposed to be “Black Out” weekend. Black people are not going to spend any money and see how black spending affect the econoy. Sorry Denzel not this time.
Although DW is my favorite, he is portraying a role that is detrimental to young black males. They already beeing caught in trying to be gangsters form the hip-hop craze, now this movie. We need some positive role models for our young black males. It is time for us to take a stand and steer our young males in the positive direction.
Denzel has enough of my money and T.I took his acting role as reality. Why would he want to have all those weapons, for display? Something is definitely wrong with our society.
Can somebody please just give me 5 minutes alone with Idris Elba??

Yeah this is about the Gangster Frank Lucas , He did rep Harlem yet he fell from grace with his decision to flip and become an informant, This will probably get someone an Oscar, Yet as for Jay Z and his American Gangster CD it will be a good album as always yet it is perfect timing and probably not connected to the movie, Jay Z does have to be concerned about the DVD coming out about him and his former best friend DEHAVEN . Looks like a great event, I will definately support the movie when it comes out! Yah, too bad about T.I not being able to go…*shrugs* . Hmm so Denzel still with his wife, right? Mmmmmm Iris Elba.
I think a white women suppost to play Denzel’s wife in AG, so no thank-you on that one, but the main thing is that he has an attractive black wife in real-life. Unlike a couple of others that’s at the premiere.
Ruby Dee is the prime example of the African American Woman. He son in the back was dude from Beat Street, the Deejay, man he got old…..Denzel looks sweaty as hell and his wife looks like she through dealing. I miss T.I. already and he’s only been in jail for about 2 weeks.
This is a must see movie for me, primarily bcuz Denzel is in it so I know it will be worth while.
the woman playing his wife is not white, she’s Puerto rican, because frank lucas married a puerto rican woman. so it’s okay, she’s not a white woman lol.
