I want 2 c dis movie fa sho but i will wait until i can buy it cuz i don’t like 2 go 2 the movies cuz i can get into it more at home with my boo who will be my husband by the time this comes out on dvd, lol, this is what i’m about, family, food, and fun!

when i heard about this movie i wasn’t expecting much. I’m surprised and I think I’ll be spending my $8.50 on it! I love Regina King she has played so many different roles and puts it down everytime! Look at C.Breezy getting his acting game on!

I agree there seems to be about 10 black actors and actresses that are on rotation!

Well I hope Chris’ acting is better in this one then in ‘Stomp the Yard’ cuz i mean well we all know that was not a call for an Oscar. He looks like he is doing well with the acting though and his speech seemed to be a LITTLE better. But Lauren London is my girl. I’m glad to see her in something new.

Chris Brown mentioned a contest at the beginning of the trailor for the opportunity to get to sing with him. He said to check out AOL Black Voices Oct. 1st. I checked on AOL Black Voices and did not see anything regarding the contest he’s talking about. Do you know how I can enter the contest?!!!

I am glad that we are having a positive black movie out. And I am going to see it because of that, but mainly cuz Keith Robinson (Dreamgirls) is in it. I absolutely loved him. And I see that other girl from dreamgirls is in it too. But yeah i dont care if it is like soul food, we havent had a movie like this in a long time

it’s a must-see in my book on the strength of all the scrumptious lookin men in the cast! Gotta love sexy, strong black men.

I have a friend who is the assistant manger at the theater. If I did see the movie and I use those words loosely it was because my ass snucked in.

What are y’all talking about there ain’t no sterotypes in this movie. In the opening scene they discuss how black people always late. That joke and the other jokes are so tired and played out the movie is not even funny. Chris Breezy is sexy, he needs to have a love scene in order for me to even consider the movie.

For those of you saying that 10 black actors are in rotation umm who exactly? This is Sharon Leal’s third movie, Lauren’s second. When was the last time we saw Regina King or Mekhi Pfiefer in a movie. I think ya’ll are OVER exaggerating. Would you want them to get no work. There are pleny of Black actors working , but they may not be in Black movies. Terrence Howard was in 3 movies so far this year. Morgan Freeman was in two, Tracie Thoms and Naomie Harris were in movies this year. Maybe you guys don’t watch a lot of films.

Talk to Me has been garnering Oscar buzz, Tsotsi got a lot of buzz the year before last. So you can’t say there are none when they ARE out there.

This is great for the fam to attend after getting stuffed on Thanksgiving. I HEART Regina King and Lauren London. Love this cast but if Chris Brown fucks up “This Christmas,” I’m punching him in thre throat!

I really wish they woul spread the love when casting us in role! Here’s the PERFECT opportunity to showcase some unseen talent, mix it in with some of the known talent to get people to come, but stop usin’ the same ol’ folks! Someone on here said this was just like Soul Food…I totally agree! I applaud us makin’ feel good movies but we can spread our wings and make more of a variety of movies. There’s another movie comin’ out (don’t know when) called A Perfect Christmas, starring Queen Latifah, Terrence Howad, Gabriel Union, Morris Chestnut, and a few other folks. I imagine that since it’s been in production since 8/2006 it’s goin’ to be released some time close to Christmas too. I know I’m tired of seeing Gabriel Union, she over acts to me. I would love to see Sanaa Lathan back in action. Oh well, guess we’re gettin’ there a little at a time.

It is going to be a feel good comedy. It also reiterates black familial unity! It’s nice to see blacks being successful and not drug dealers with 35 hoes! Preston is working VERY hard, so I ask ALL OF U to see tha movie and let it speak 4 itself. I PROMISE U IT WILL BE GREAT!
