So we got a Christmas Soul Food on our hands. I’ll probably be able to predict the story line from beginning to end but,whatever it’s a positive, black movie so I’m going to see it.

I will be at the show immediately following black Friday shopping!!!

this movie looks like a feel-good Christmas flick but I liked it better the first time when it was called Soul Food.

I cant wait for This Christmas to come next month. I am huge of Regina King and Loretta Devine, I also like Delroy Lindo. As many have mentioned before this is like a christmas Soul Food. I love Soul Food its one of my top 3 movies of all times. To answer ur questions about Chris Browns’ secret, its the fact he wants sing, and he dont know how his mother is going to react to him wanting to sing.

Can’t wait! Haven’t had a movie like that since Soul Food. Hope it is good!

This movie and Tyler Perry movie will be the only movies I’ll be seeing this year. Unless there will be another good black movie out this year, or white it doesn’t really matter.

it’s not that deep for me…i’ll go see it regardless….but yeah, it would be nice if we could do some films with some more complex themes..
but when we do, they are hard to follow….sleep with anger anyone?

This looks like it will be interesting.I will be watching it that’s for sure just because of the cast alone. I think that was a good idea because if the cast wasn’t good people would be like they just copying I ain’t paying money to see that movie but with all the good actors you want to see how everyone will play off each other in the movie and how they will try to change something in it to make it interesting and not predictable. I mean we can’t be sure it is because preveiws just display little higlights of them film but it’s the movie as a whole that makes it good. LIke they have so many blacks dance movies too but it’s the story line and the actor and actresses skills that make a movie.

I have a friend who is the assistant manger at the theater. If I did see the movie and I use those words loosely it was because my ass snucked in.

What are y’all talking about there ain’t no sterotypes in this movie. In the opening scene they discuss how black people always late. That joke and the other jokes are so tired and played out the movie is not even funny. Chris Breezy is sexy, he needs to have a love scene in order for me to even consider the movie.

For those of you saying that 10 black actors are in rotation umm who exactly? This is Sharon Leal’s third movie, Lauren’s second. When was the last time we saw Regina King or Mekhi Pfiefer in a movie. I think ya’ll are OVER exaggerating. Would you want them to get no work. There are pleny of Black actors working , but they may not be in Black movies. Terrence Howard was in 3 movies so far this year. Morgan Freeman was in two, Tracie Thoms and Naomie Harris were in movies this year. Maybe you guys don’t watch a lot of films.

I really wish they woul spread the love when casting us in role! Here’s the PERFECT opportunity to showcase some unseen talent, mix it in with some of the known talent to get people to come, but stop usin’ the same ol’ folks! Someone on here said this was just like Soul Food…I totally agree! I applaud us makin’ feel good movies but we can spread our wings and make more of a variety of movies. There’s another movie comin’ out (don’t know when) called A Perfect Christmas, starring Queen Latifah, Terrence Howad, Gabriel Union, Morris Chestnut, and a few other folks. I imagine that since it’s been in production since 8/2006 it’s goin’ to be released some time close to Christmas too. I know I’m tired of seeing Gabriel Union, she over acts to me. I would love to see Sanaa Lathan back in action. Oh well, guess we’re gettin’ there a little at a time.
