According to LetoyaOnline.com, former Destiny’s Child member, LeToya Luckett is working on a follow-up to her debut album, LeToya. The as-yet-titled (Lady Love is being considered) sophomore effort is tentatively set for a February 2008 release.
The first single from the album is titled “Swagger,” featuring UGK, Killa Kyleon and Slim Thug, and is set to release within the next two weeks. “Swagger” is produced by Bridge.
In addition to working with Bridge, the “H-Town Chick” is also slated to have production from the talented Bryan-Michael Cox, Rodney Jerkins, Tricky Stewart & the Dream, Walter Milsap, J.R. Rotem (Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls”), Pharrell Williams, and if you read our exclusive interview with Teedra Moses, LeToya is interested in a track from her and Raphael Saadiq.

According to the RIAA, Kanye West’s third studio album, Graduation has been certified two times platinum! In addition, he also won two BET Hip Hop Awards for best video and best live performance.
Graduation was released September 11, and debuted at #1, and now sits on the Billboard Hot 100 Albums chart at #6, being on the charts for five weeks, jumping up from the #7 spot last week. He also has 2 singles on in the top 10 of the Hot 100 Singles chart, with “Stronger” holding steady at #2, being on the charts for 12 weeks and his third single, “Good Life,” featuring T-Pain, climbing at #10, having been on the charts for just 5 weeks.
I’m sure Kanye’s got some more tricks up his sleeve as far as new singles from the album. His videos are always a smash.

Cheri Dennis shooting “Portrait of Love” at Opera
Last Tuesday, Bad Boy recording artist Cheri Dennis shot her second video for her new single, “Portrait of Love” featuring Yung Joc and Gorilla Zoe. The video was shot at a popular Atlanta club called Opera. The shots from the video look pretty interesting.
I happen to know the choreographer for the video, so I’m eager to see what they came up with for the song. Even though I like the track, I am a little worried about how it will translate to fans and on the radio. It sounds like a great album selection, but I’m not sure if it’s single material. Check out more shots from the video. She looks super cute.
