♫ Bow Wow & Omarion – Girlfriend
The third song to leak from Bow Wow and Omarion’s joint project, Faceoff. Apparently now, this is the first single from the project. Honestly, like the other tracks that I’ve heard, this one falls short as well. I guess I’m just past being interested in hearing any of the material that’s been prepared for this album, because all of it has been mediocre to me. But realistically, “Girlfriend” is the type of the song they need to be recording, because it’s what’s going to appeal to their audience – young girls want to hear Bow and Omari talking about being in love with a girl, ’cause that girl could potentially be them.
I think the song lacks a strong hook, which has pretty much been the issue I’ve had with the other songs that I’ve heard from this project. I don’t know, I’m just not excited about it. But then again, I don’t remember being too stoked about Jigga and R. Kelly’s Best of Both Worlds either. Not that this compares. We’ll see.

I like Hood Star better. What did Bow Wow say recently to think that he wanted to start beef with 50? I think he’s tired of everyone asking him how does he feel about Ciara & 50 being together. He said so this on Power 1051 here in NYC. That I can understand. However, Bow Wow didn’t deny his relationship with Angela Simmons. This morning on MissJones Morning Show, Omarion was throwing out hints about him (Bow Wow) & Angela.
I also think that the songs with R.Kelly will be much better.
How Omarion go from recording the song of his career “ice box” to this??? Looks to me like he got desperate when he found no one was buying his album “21″.
