♫ Bow Wow & Omarion – Girlfriend
The third song to leak from Bow Wow and Omarion’s joint project, Faceoff. Apparently now, this is the first single from the project. Honestly, like the other tracks that I’ve heard, this one falls short as well. I guess I’m just past being interested in hearing any of the material that’s been prepared for this album, because all of it has been mediocre to me. But realistically, “Girlfriend” is the type of the song they need to be recording, because it’s what’s going to appeal to their audience – young girls want to hear Bow and Omari talking about being in love with a girl, ’cause that girl could potentially be them.
I think the song lacks a strong hook, which has pretty much been the issue I’ve had with the other songs that I’ve heard from this project. I don’t know, I’m just not excited about it. But then again, I don’t remember being too stoked about Jigga and R. Kelly’s Best of Both Worlds either. Not that this compares. We’ll see.

I actually dug the song, I was there to see up and close and personal the making of the video and it was awesome… The real genious behind this video is that little hottie Oamrion. That dude has a solid heart, and great personality. He is one of the humble ones……..
i looovvves it i actually listened to it…all of it. they’re growing. i mean it’s easy for new artists to come and do what’s already been developed [ tweaking is easy, it doesn't take much, like 50 said come copy] but being the inventor is hard, you never know how people are going to respond to you. so give them props.[ bet you we're going to have drones of young collabo artists now] I’m tired of these generic artists coming out like they being mass produced at some factory. one sells so we all can sell the same nonsense. gone are the days of being organic and creating you and an audience that understands you. but then again isn’t the new slogan all about making paper and getting mine. no growth involved huh? let’s back artists because we can see they trying, working and not just trying to make a quick buck off our hard earned money. they may not be releasing material that has anything to do with the price of bread but atleast they not corrupting my soul while they making that paper and demanding i respect their hustle.
