After a long hiatus, the ‘Southern Hummingbird’ is making comeback! Word is she is working hard on the new release, ‘Love, Tweet’ which is set to hit stores sometime next year.
Above is the link to her new song, “My Dear” feat. T.I. Some of you may remember hearing that song a couple months back with Ciara on the track, but Tweet brought some new energy to the track, so I’m feeling it now.

i like this version better than ciara’s but everybody sounds like their singing drunk on both versions….or like their weazing like p.diddy on “last night”
ummm ciara’s version of this song is 10x better and I think ciara can sing way better than people actually give her credit for and tweet still kept ciara’s vocals in the chorus so she’s gonna be getting royalties.
I actually like tweet and I like her voice, but she needs to hand this track back over to ciara and come up with another single.
I got this track yesterday morning. I’m feeling it, but she needs to take it back in the studio and overlay it with more vocals…..and just go all out on it .

Tweet is a cute lady. She always looks on point and she has the best weave in the industry hands down.

i’m ready for tweet’s arrival. i’m somewhat disappointed that she chose this mess for a first single, let alone, even decided to put it on her album. leave this garbage to the ciara’s. tweet can actually sing and makes music with substance. i’m waiting for another deep track like “complain.”

Tweet can’t do no wrong in my book…That “Southern Hummingbird” album got me through some tuff times. Her second album wasnt really that good, because I think she wasn’t under Missy’s mangement anymore. I hope she returns to The New Legend Missy and create another one like the first one!

I don’t think Tweet is “changing” as in not being herself. Most of her singles have ALWAYS been Missy or Timbaland’s productions and this time it’s no different. I don’t think it’s all that (because that sound doesn’t compliment her voice) but I hope (and believe) this is just to let us know that she’s back and she has some fire music for us.
I’m not impressed. Where is Missy to produce a tight-ass track for her first single?
Honestly , I like Ciara’s version better but T.I should have not sang along with the chorus ! … but I love Tweet and I can’t wait to hear her new album.

Tweet has a lovely voice – but I don’t think this track does her justice. I’ve heard the one with Ciara – and I quite liked it, although I thought it was a bit too repetitive . Listening to it again it sounds more like an album filler so I think it’s mistake for Tweet come back on the scene with this song.
I’m so happy that my girl is back on the scene. She may be a little oldre than some of these other women in the industry but she has madd talent! I love her! Me personally C-C has talent when it comes to dancing but that song was a no-no for her Tweet did het thang! “It’s Me Again” wasn’t so good but I liked it but “Southern Hummingbird” si a true Classic I hope she worked with some of the people off that album on this one. So plz stop hatin and show some luv.
