The ladies are loving Chanel – I mean, what lady doesn’t or couldn’t for that matter? Since it’s days in the early 1900s under founder Coco Chanel, the line defines class and chic. Now under the leadership of designer Karl Lagerfeld, The House Of Chanel has added a fresh and young appeal that generates not only the celebrity, the modern woman. I must admit I visit my resident Chanel store at least once a month and should probably handcuff my hands so, I won’t go near my wallet…

When we think of Chanel in black entertainment – we might think of Foxy Brown and Lil Kim first because they obviously loved the brand enough to mention it in a number of songs. Beyonce was recently spotted in New York decked out in nothing but Chanel accessories. Alexis Phiffer, Kerry Washington…the list goes on and on. Black entertainment and fashion loves the brand and always will.
