A friend of mine went to the taping and in honor for Teddy Riley, Ne-yo and Keyshia Cole sang Michael Jackson’s “Remember the Time” (MJ and Teddy co-wrote the song) and Ne-yo was wearing that Billie Jean costume, lol. I can’t wait to see it.

Snoop – He is my third favorite west coast rapper (Ice Cube is #1, Too Short # 2 – BEEEEYAAAAAAAAAATCH! I’m sorry but I just had to say that…). However, Dr. Dre is the Quincy Jones of Hip Hop and he is much more deserving than Snoop.. If Dr. Dre did not exist, then there would not be a Snoop D O double G, Em, and 50.
In 2008, the VH1 Hip Hop honorees should be Rakim, Dr. Dre, Queen Latifah, & Jay-Z. You got the most respected rapper of all time, the best producer (even Timbo refers to him as Daddy – now that’s weird), arguably the best female lyricist of all time, and the best rapper after Biggie/Tupac died. Now that would be a great show.
