A special screening of ‘American Gangster’ was held in Hollywood on Monday night. The usual suspects attended with a few additions.
In related news, the DVD Screener of ‘American Gangster’ hit the net last week. Screeners are usually passed out in DVD format so that the Oscar crowd can vote on the upcoming movies. Someone said ‘eff it’ and uploaded it on the net. Nope, I’m not posting a link to it but let’s just say the bootleggers will be making madd money before November 2nd comes around. Gotta love the internet.

I saw the bootleg Friday, and Im glad I saw it on bootleg because the movie is about 2 and a half hours long.

This is he beginning of award season for movies. This is when the good serious movies come out and they are sent to academy judges to be reviewed. Thats why the movie is in such good quality. There are going to be a lot of movies that will be leaked in DVD quality. Happens every year, there is no conspiracy.
