Two days after she had announced she was pregnant, Halle Berry claims she was chased by paparazzi and they caused her to smash her car into a wall. She spoke to Tavis Smiley in an exclusive interview to be broadcast on PBS tonight.
“This is something I want to say on your show because I know you and nobody else wants to tell the story,” Halle said. Obviously she was concerned about her unborn child. “I thought, ‘Oh my God, I hope this jolt and this bang hasn’t done anything to me internally.’ That’s immediately what I thought. When I got out of my car, of course, they had scattered. Everybody left. Those people don’t have license plates on their cars… There’s nothing there for you to get and write down and even report.So, there I was stuck with this crashed up car wondering if this somehow impacted my pregnancy and feeling totally helpless and violated and I had nothing—no recourse against anyone.”

ANNA NICOLE’S FORMER BODYGUARD HAD HEART ATTACK & STROKE?
The former bodyguard for Anna Nicole Smith, Maurice “Big Moe” Brighthaupt, suffered a heart attack and stroke, according to The National Enquirer. “Big Moe” has been under a considerable amount of stress since the death of Anna Nicole back in February. He was the one who had found her unconscious in her hotel room at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. The death of Anna Nicole’s son Daniel has devastated him as well. His high blood pressure and the stress of this past year is what likely contributed to his “mild heart attack and stroke” recently.
“He’s only 38, he’s a strong man, a former college basketball star and a firefighter. But this ongoing saga is destroying him,” says a source. “He wishes that he could have, somehow, saved Anna’s life and Daniel’s, too. He guarded her for four years. She and Danny were like family to him.”
He was recuperating at his Florida home when he was rushed to the hospital again on October 13th because he was “overcome with chest pains”. He has since been released.
I’ve got believe with Big Moe it’s not just stress, it’s diet also. I am disheartened by the amount of our folks who are just eating themselves to death. Food just ain’t that damned good!

I realy don’t understand where you are getting your information or how you’re drawing your conclusions..i for one believe that the pappi’s cause alot of accidents, and i believe they contributed to the one halle was in recently….and you say you don’t remember the papparazzi’s following her around when she was with benet, i constantly seen photos of them in the mags, where were you?….yes they were following halle, and they always has. But it’s even more now due to her pregnancy. She’s a beautiful oscar winner, and she don’t need to call the damn pappi’s for publicity, that’s a dumb theory….i don’t know maybe they think she’ll miscarry, and they want to be the first to report she went to the hospital for some unknown reason, or they want the first pic of baby, who knows…they just want the first scoop. The same way they did with tom and katie, and angelina and brad…..halle is a A list star you know.
I’m not making excuses for halle, but her story seems totally plausible to me….maybe she’s not the best driver, but driving up close to someone’s vehicle, cutting them off in traffic, and so forth will make the best driver have accidents…i don’t see her being a liar on this one.
Don’t discount that it didn’t happen, was just pointing out that it’s more promotional bs for her movie since she’s been talking about everything under the sun about her pregnancy while promoting her new movie. Trust me there are times that celebrities including Halle at times (not in this or other cases) do for a fact do tip off the pappis to keep current in being seen I know this for a fact from my friends in the biz. Yes I think it awful what the pappis do, I am not discounting that.
My point with when she was with Eric, yet there pix of them in magazines and some things on the internet (and it could be possible I may have missed a few pix), but not to the extent as it has been with her pregnant and/or with Aubry—they have become more obsessed. I don’t remember all of the blogs going on about her as much as they have been over the last two years since she has been with Aubry or since her break up with Benet even though there have been some references to the Wesley Snipes or David Justice thing or her car accident or suicide attempt, etc. But know to the extent over the last 2-4+ years.
if the pappis are sick enough to think or try or to hope to cause her miscarriage than shame on them and they should see their day in court. since the accident halle has been seen driven by the bodyguards etc. the other point i was making my original posts re: tightening security because of the death threat letters which I do still believe to be real and I am sure we have seen some of the comments of the crazies on the internet and her past experience in receiveing death threats make this true. I just thought it was totally ironic that she was photographed last week in NYC in broad daylight without a bodyguard or Aubry near her for protection.
if halle’s smart like one off the earlier posters mentioned she should move out of LA/NYC where the stalkarazzis can hound her.

I hear you, but you have to remember too, halle is promoting a movie, and while she’s making her rounds, you know the interviewer is going to ask her about her pregnancy….it’s only natural for them to do so.
And yes, i agree, she does seem more relevant now…..they pappi’s will chase her more, first off, she’s dating a white man, and this sick world may be taking more note of her because of that, and also, this is her first child, and she’s let it be known she’s had problems conceiving….i didn’t say they were trying to cause a miscarriage for her, but that maybe they think she could have one because of all her problems conceiving, and they want to be around when something goes wrong….or it can be many things.
I just think with alot of the stars, these pappi’s are going to kill someone with the way the relentlessly chase these people…..all for money….an A list celebrity photo demands a lot of money nowadays, and that’s why they relentlessly and untirely chase these people to one end of the earth and back…..i believe they cause many of the accidents with britney and lindsay lohan as well…..and you seen britney just ran over one of their foot yesterday….cause how do you drive with people hanging over and onto your car, and in front of you. It’s just crazy……

Halle is pregnant–as a mother yourself, you should understand what she must have been feeling at the moment of impact in that car crash. I like Halle even though she does ALWAYS seem to be crying or about to cry whenever i see in interviews and stuff. LOL Sometimes (most of the time) she talking about her struggle as a black woman and stuff, even though she’s BI-racial, but my point is that she always bringing it up and you’d never guess this coming from a woman born in the late 60′s raised in the 70′s and 80′s.
