Beautiful picture and their daughter is a doll, looking like her daddy chewed and spit her out. I’m mad b/c Tamia’s last album was great, but got absolutely no airplay. It’s a darn shame b/c her voice is awesome. Does Grant still play ball? I still remember begging my mom to buy me his shoes when I was in the 7th grade.

Tamia album was real nice, but for some reason people just don’t support her. I think she has one of the most beautiful voices.

Beauiful family — and they have overcome a lot. Grant had the staph infection that nearly killed him a few years back when he was having all that suregy on his ankle, and then they found out about Tamia’s MS. But they seem strong and happy through it all — Grant still balling, and Tamia has a voice like an angel.

That’s a beautiful family. Wonder why they didn’t have the little one in the photo shoot. Anyway, I would love to see that DVD.

OMG!!!! Tamia has Multiple Sclerosis??? I sooooo did not know that, wow! That is such a painful and debilitating disease. My heart goes out to her! She and Grant make such a beautiful couple and their little girl looks just like Grant spit her out… she is too cute!!!

Why must we always find something negative to say? They are human, and this is a picture. Tamia is suffering a sickness so maybe she wasn’t feeling well, or maybe she didn’t want to be cheesing in the picture. Tamia and Grant are not all over the news flaunting their relationship for publicity - they do it to help others. Let’s be happy that a strong black couple is still present in hollywood.

I have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis for 12 years. It is a disease that can be mild (relapse-remitting) or severe (progressive). At the very least a person can experience fatigue on a daily basis. Think about how you feel when you are coming down with the flu, now imagine feeling that way everyday for the rest of your life. That’s MS. More severe forms of MS can debilitate to the point that the person can’t walk, has slurred speech, etc. It does not cause depression. Can someone who is diagnosed with it get depressed? Yes! Dealing with any longterm, chronic illness is very difficult and requires alot of patience and support from family and friends. I admire Grant for staying with his wife and supporting her. Some men leave because they can’t handle the pressure. I admire Tamia for staying strong and continuing her career and continuing to expand her family in spite of the MS. She is setting a great example for all of the women out there who are living with chronic illnesses. We have a saying in MS support groups: “I have MS it doesn’t have me”.
