As most of you probably know, Sean “Diddy” Combs was allegedly involved in a fight last weekend in NYC with acquaintance, Steven Acevedo. The fight was reportedly over a woman. Police sources tell the New York Post that Diddy will be charged with assault after he allegedly punched an acquaintance of 13 years in the face at a SoHo night club.
Diddy skipped a scheduled meeting with police Tuesday afternoon as his lawyer released a statement saying that he would not be arrested. At the time, Diddy was meeting with the victim at Butter nightclub to try and work things out without criminal charges being filed.
But the victim, 31-year-old Steven Acevedo, said their lil pow wow did nothing to change his mind about moving forward with the case. In fact, when asked point blank if they had resolved the matter, Acevedo told the Post, “Definitely not” before slowly drawing his finger across his throat – the universal gesture of doom. [SOURCE]

L.A. REID & DEF JAM DENY NAS’ ALBUM TITLE
Earlier this week the word got out about Nas’ new album which he is reportedly calling “Nigga.” Reps at Def Jam deny that Nas is even working on an album and according to ‘a source close to Island Def Jam Music Group chairman’ Antonio “L.A.” Reid:
“There is no album release by Nas on the release schedule at this point, and they would be unlikely to release an album with that title. How would that look at Wal-Mart?” [SOURCE]
I’ll wait until Nas speaks about it. Something don’t sound right about it anyway.

I figured that Nas would be shut down from calling the album that, lol. God forbid that a black man take back the power that has been used over him regarding this word that has literally taken on a life of it’s own. I’m not talking about the slang and the usage of the word as a term of endearment. I’m talking about a real, thorough, and sincere scrutinization and examination of this phenomenon and why literally all races use this word in condemnation of the blacks of the captivity (Deut 28:37, Jer 29:18,19, Ezek 22:5). I believe that this was Nas’s point and goal but of course the simple and the ignorant outnumber the real thinking people about 1000 to one. The only reason why black people don’t want to speak about this word and get offended by Nas’s potential usage of the word is because they want to be accepted by the white mainstream, which will never happen.
