I sincerely hop Nicole isn’t serious. The production is halfway decent [i expect more from Zone 4] and the vocals aren’t even worth commenting on.

I love the Alicia song! Superwoman just makes me feel all energized like I can get up and do it! Her delivery was soulful not to mention that is top notch singing! I mean no background singers and just one instrument singing live. Of course the studio version is gonna sound a lil diff but if she can rock it like that live that only builds my anticipation for the release! I basically cosign with #15!

I actually feel like Nicole can sing but these pointless songs are not where its at. She is not doing anything to seperate herself from the next chick in the game. Just cause polow is hot doesn’t mean he should work with everybody. People don’t seem to find a producer who can help THEM shine, instead producers find singers who can let them shine.

I was soooooooo sick of the JT song before the remix came out, and now that they are playing the remix it has not given the track new life. It was already dead at that point to me. Beyonce sounds good, but the remix was not necessary. The song has run its course in my opinion.

I first heard Mary’s single on WPGC 95.5 in D.C. and i fell in love with the song right away. Apparently, the radio station did too, cause they played it twice- back to back.

I’m not really feeling any of these songs. Mary’s is probably the best. It exudes such joy and happiness but I just can’t get into it. Alicia: i appreciate the real music and lyrics but, again, I just can’t get into it. Nicole is a disappointment. She can actually sing to me but her material has been so trite and typical. Finally, Justin’s song, though played out, was just fine. The remix added nothing new except for making the beginning riffs more annoying. Leave well enough alone. Sheesh…

MJB: Love the song. She took some of Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” song and made a another hit. The song is catchy, vibe is good, and the lyrics are inspiring. I would give this CD to my daughter.

Alicia Keys: Pure class. Lyrics inspirational. She gives us her all in this song. Piano and voice that’s it. True music, with no voice overs. Alicia will win tons of Grammys for this song. This is a womens anthem. Go Soror Alicia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#21 you are exactly right everyone does have an opinion but I guess if we supported each other instead of tearing each other down(as if we don’t have enough against us as is) at any given opportunity the world would be a better place but I am sure that is never going to happen.

If we could just stop comparing singers/rappers to each other and enjoy them for who THEY are would be great. I have never commented but it trips me out how with every picture/song someone always have something negative to say either they are ugly or what they are wearing is ugly or they can’t sing etc. I would like to see all of you negative comment makers on a regular basis and see if yall look,sound or act the bomb or are 100% all the time. Alicia - I am not feeling this song, and No One has yet to grow on me. Alicia needs to do what most singers do after their 1st successful CD; GET A VOCAL COACH! The talent is there, but she is always all over the place with her vocals. Never any control, and just yelling where she should be singing. I really hope she gets it together cause I just do not like the way she is singing.

I liked (not loved) Mary’s song. Great production even if the hook was a bit repetitive. She sounded great up until the bridge and then she went into that unappealing strangled cat sound she does now and then. Would have made a great late spring or summer release — it has that breezy feel.

Alicia. If this is what it took you 3 years to do, then I don’t know what to say. First “No One” (which is a poor man’s “My Love is Your Love” by Whitney), and now this mediocre “Superwoman” which also sounds like a warmed over rendition of another song (I just can’t think of the name yet). It’s very derivative and musically all I heard was very simplistic piano playing and strained vocals again. There really is nothing genius about her music. I actually think she is a bit overrated.

Mary is very inspiring for me because her music is so real - every step of the way her music has told the story of her life. Just like “My Life” told of all the drama at that time, “Just fine” says Mary’s still in a good place - she’s very comfortable with herself, and she’s not changing to meet anyone’s expectations.
