Chris Brown: Don’t like the song at all. I understand producers have a signature sound but why must every song sound exactly the same? I hear irreplaceable all through that song. Artist/lables should demand diffrent beats they are paying for it.

I know I shouldn’t bring up her name but…..Chris Brown’s new song sounds TOO MUCH like Irreplaceable. That’s why Rihanna’s camp ain’t THINKING about making “Good Girl Gone Bad” a single. Whoever uses that kinda popish Startrack sounding production will be compared to Beyonce and if they can’t do better than that song, it will flop. Nicole and her “Baby Love”, though produced by Will.I.Am, was compared to Irreplaceable too and flopped. That’s a bad strategy in my opinion.

Mario’s a good singer. I didn’t listen to his song, for most of them sound the same, but he’s definitely good, and I don’t need to hear another song of his to know that.

Chris Brown’s music is bland to me. Then again, his music is aimed more towards teen girls, and I’m neither, so yeah… I didn’t listen to him.

Cassie….wow. This girl SLAMMIN’ hot. She can hold a tune, so by default she can sing, but her voice is SEVERLY limited, which is why she sounds the same in every song. That’s all she knows how to do. She’s playing it too safe, but with vocal training and practice, she could be the next super pop star. She has potential. Her voice has improved, at least.

Britney…..I am so buying her album. I know I’m not “supposed” to, but I’ve liked each new song I heard from hers. Britney’s voice is not that bad to me (same goes for Rihanna). Not everyone is going to sing like Mariah Carey, so just enjoy them for what they are.

Mariah Carey is the best singer ever, but she too has her fair share of crap/mediocre/bland music. Having a good voice is a huge part of a song, but it’s not all of it. The lyrics and the emotion behind the song are both important as well.

I LOVE BRITNEY, at the end of the day she is pop, pop isn’t about knowing how to sing but easy music and she gives us that. She’s a pro and she’s good at what she does. I feel incredibly bad for her and what she is going through, I hope the best for her.
