Mya feat. Trina – Ridin’ (Remix) (full) – listen
Trina’s dropping a new album so it’s only appropriate that she’s hopping on some remixes. I actually kind of like this remix of the song. I think that the more uptempo production goes a little harder than the original version of the song. I also think it fits the lyrics of the song a little better. Although I haven’t enjoyed the bulk of the material that’s been leaked from Mya’s Liberation, I do like the video for “Ridin’” – the imagery is really cool. I just hope that Mya can get out of this rut and release this album. It’s been pushed back too many times.
Chris Brown – I’ll Call Ya (snippet) – listen
Chris Brown’s material from Exclusive, his sophomore effort, is leaking slowly but surely. I, personally, have enjoyed all the singles from Chris, as well as the bulk of the material that I’ve heard, including the snippets. I need to hear the rest of this one, though, because I’m not sold on the song yet. Although it seems as though Chris is suffering from a bit of the sophomore slump, he’s still been getting major promotion from magazines. I’m a little worried about how Exclusive will do, because he hasn’t been getting as much love as he used to.
Timbaland & One Republic – Apologize (full) – listen
One of my favorite songs from Shock Value is now Timbaland’s new single, and it’s on the charts, while “The Way I Are” (featuring Keri Hilson & D.O.E.) is still riding high as well. There really is something about this song that it just beautiful to me. I sometimes even listen to the instrumental (they leaked an instrumentals version of Shock Value a couple of months ago). I was surprised to see that they made this song a single, but it definitely has that crossover appeal that most of Timbaland’s album gave me this time around.
Britney Spears – Sugarfalls (full) – listen
The official tracklisting for Britney’s new album, Blackout has finally leaked but the Neptunes-produced “Sugarfalls” isn’t on it. I guess they only wanted to use on Neptunes track out of all the best material, and “Stupid Things” was the song that made the cut. And I can definitely see why. To me, “Stupid Things” sounds more like a completely song than “Sugarfalls.” Even though I am slightly in love with the bridge of this song.
People said that Beyonce album would flop because her first handful of singles weren’t like Dangerously In Love but she still selling out stadiums and arenas. So its probably too soon to say CB in a sophmore slump. Maybe once he get some other singles out or videos, he’ll bounce back. His audience right now is the younger fans so he’ll probably do ight with this album. Damn seem like some ppl talkng it too serious lol.
I couldn’t agree with you more #54 (plus the baby thing was cleared up and it was proven he wasn’t in the state when the 33 year old whore said he was) and for the person that made the comment about how people keep saying he needs to “Grow up”…you couldn’t be more right. The minute he starts singing about screwing a chick everybody is gonna have a baby and say he’s too young.
Omarion did that mess and look where he is, right along with bow wow. He’s growing up and needs to transcend slowly but on a realistic pace like he’s been doing.

I liked everything I heard.
But it tickles me how some disregard the horrible vocals with Ms. Spears, whereas a lot of people give ‘ other artist ‘ hell for it, even if the beats hot, the lyrics are good.

From what I know Kiss Kiss is climbing the charts like wildfire. Its like #1 in New Zealand and is currently in the top 10 on Billboard Hip Hop/R&B charts and #22 on the Hot 100. Sounds pretty damn good to me and i’m sure the numbers will only get better. Wall to Wall didnt chart because it sucks, it never should have been a single in the first place. But his fan base didnt decrease, i anything, it has increased and I have a feeling they will definitly come through for him once the album drops and the numbers will be even better than the last album.

How do you find out how the singles and albums are doing well on the charts, just curious???
Chris brown is probably the most gifted male vocalist in the mainstream right now whether you like him or not…Im not a fan of the music cause it’s whack..But Im guessing once he finishes his young jackson phase and realizes that flattery isnt always flattering..he will be great. He truly has a gift..Maybe people don’t get it cause the boy cant stand still to sing even for a minute…What I want to know is I heard he knocked up some 33 year old woman who works in the industry…The reason I want to know is that will have a definite impact on what he gets to do.

No, I’m not deaf, but so far what I have heard I have liked. I’m not saying she is killing it vocally, but the producers she has been working with have laid down some killa tracks for her to work with. I didn’t say the leak was smart either. But in the end I like what I like.
