College Hill is back and this time, they’re interning. College Hill: Interns premiered last night on BET with 10 college students/graduates taking on Chicago. With best selling Author and “Celebrity Fit Club” host Dr. Ian Smith’s guidance, the students will embark on challenges to improve knowledge on management skills, marketing techniques, event planning, publicity and corporate communications, and community outreach.
Not to mention there is a lesbian, virgin, preacher’s son, and horned out frat boys living under the same roof – I mean c’mon, that’s why you really watch right? After last season (fight and all), who knows what may happen this time around…did you catch the premiere episode? If not, check it out on BET.COM…
So you may have seen in a couple of random posts that Shar Jackson was crown the title of “Celebrity Rap Superstar”. Of course, she got this title from a reality show on MTV (of all places) that took eight celebrities/random folk, and placed them on stage to make a mockery of Hip Hop…because we don’t have that enough already.
Actually sarcasm aside, there were some good performances – mostly given by Countess Vaughn (one of the contestants) and Shar. Fed-ex got the most praise however for spilling her heart and rhymes out about Kev and Britney Spears. Check out clips of her winning performances here…
Do any of you watch “Dancing With The Stars”? I must admit, I’m a closet fan of this show. As some of you may know, Eddie’s baby moms Melanie Brown is a contestant and has been kicking butt on the dance floor (along with that Cheetah girl).
This week, her Spice girl counterparts came along to show her support on the show. Word is, their looking for Eddie now and plan to give him a Britain beatdown – I’m kidding…

After the premiere episode of “Gotti’s Way” last week, many viewers were very confused by the relationship he had with his wife. Something like, she was mad that he said that he had a problem cheating on her in an magazine interview, yet they are still married – but live apart, and Gotti sleeps on her couch sometimes. So basically, they are seperated folks.

I seriously think Irv and Deb should work it out. I mean come on, when someone cheats on you, that hurts like hell, and I can see why she put his ass out, but hell, you can still see that they love each other, they just show it in a different way. I think they should get some counseling and healing/love therapy. I so want to blame that damn Superhead! I mean Superho, her nasty ass caused a lot of ruckus in many other celebs marriages. But back to Irv, the show is dope and i’m feeling it.
I don’t see what the confusion is about with Gotti and his wife. They are not the first, nor will they be the last couple to seperate amidst claims of infidelity. Most may not want to admit it, but the majority of men cheat. Especially men with money, & some type of status. Women know this. Although some women stay with cheating men who have absolutely nothing to offer financially, most women wise up after a while and bounce. Most women however who are married to or deal with men with money and status typically won’t leave if they know of infidelity. Why? For the sake of love, children & family, and MONEY & SECURITY. To know that your husband is cheating is one thing but for him to openly admit it on airways is humiliating at the least. I believe that was the reason why she “kicked him out”. But I don’t expect her to divorce him nor him to divorce her. They obviously love each other and he “thinks” he respects her because he takes care of her but he obviously doesn’t completely understand what respecting his “wife” means.

Nope, sorry, Irv is just a hoe, and he’s not done hoeing around yet, that’s why they are still separated…superhead is a side affect of their marriage, she is not the root cause…Irv made the marital committment to Deb, and he’s the one that opened the door and let superhead, and all the other skanks he was sleepin with into the marraige…people always want to blame the outside hoe, and it’s their fault to an extent, but she didn’t make no commitment to Deb, Irv did, and he should honor it. Superhead is just a wolf waiting to pounce, if you let her cause she don’t love herself….this is Irv’s fault.
But Deb was irritating me on the show cause it seems she plan to always wait for the crumbs Irv throws her….she’s still young enough to go try and make a way for herself, but my guess is she’s never worked and never supported herself…i could be wrong….
I happen to think Shar was very entertaining and hyped the crowd very well. Kendra sucked tho.

I watched Irv’s show. I love the fact that he took on the role of claiming his stepdaughter as his ACTUAL daugther. He’s been in her life since she was 11 months old, and he’s the only father she’s ever known. I really admire that about Irv.
But as for Irv’s wife, it seems like she still kind of wants to be with him, even though he said he couldn’t stop cheating on her. And I agree with the person who said that Irv’s wife just wants him to take care of her. She doesn’t do nothing but sit around all day. She’s just a golddigger.

I actually enjoy watching this show. I couldn’t stand this man until I caught the first episode. I think he’s a hard working man and somehow manages time for his family. It’s sad that he can’t stop cheating on his wife yet they seem like such a perfect match. They’re like best friends. It’s pleasant to see that there’s no baby momma drama. Although I can see that it takes a toll on her to know that he wants to be a free man and she still loves and cares about him. He seems like a wonderful father to his children.
I hope in the upcoming episodes he realizes that he has what seems like a great woman at home waiting for him, and he cuts all that other bs out.
I’ll keep wishing and watching.

Irv’s wife needs to cut her losses and move on. If she wants to play herself that’s one thing but when you have kids, dont play them too. She said she knew it was over when she read Irv saying in a magazine he cant stop cheating. You dont neet a man disrespecting you in the magazines. One of your kids could have read that, and her sons and daughter need to know that’s not how a MAN treats a woman or a WOMAN should allow herself to be treated.
I’ve never been a College Hill fan but I might watch this season. Shar did good, she bought her own flava to the songs. So of course an album is next for her. Eddie should man up but Mel can’t make him be in the baby’s life. She shouldn’t even have to ask he should want to see his daughter. I watched Gotti’s Way it’s kool, not exciting.

Yes, DMX wife was giving her advice…i was crackin up…but i can say at least DMX wife aint sitting on her ass, hoping her man get right, so he can take care of her ass for the rest of her life….DMX wife went the fuck out and got a damn job….just like most mothers with children who are taking care of their families and WORKING…Irv’s wife just don’t want to work, but somebody needs to clue her in….right now, Irv’s assets are next to nothing, if nothing, so Irv is responsible for taking care of them kids, who will be big pretty soon, he’s not necessarily responsible for taking care of Deb…if she divorced him, the courts would give her a percentage based on his assets, which is zilch….bottom line, when them kids turn 18, she gone be out on her ass, with no money…cause by the time Irv’ would have moved on…and she’ll be old as hell with no damn money…..she needs to wake up and start making plans to take care of herself in case Irv decides to leave…alot of men do as they see the children growing older….she’s lazy and she needs to start using her brain. Being a mother is no excuse to sit on your ass, especially when your man is running around town with other women with his broke ass.

I’m just glad that the kids from College Hill are doing something worthwhile this time around, instead of just laying around the house, getting into fights, and somewhere in between maybe attending a class or two (which we barely see since the first one or two seasons).

Some of yall act like you never heard of a “stay at home wife/mother” . I like Deb and her position (raising the kids). It’s only been two episodes and some of you act like you know Deb personally. They have a long history together…they have a defined roles in thier relationship – some one works and the other take care of the home. I see nothing wrong with that.

Irv needs to stop playing games. I think he is using the kids as a way to stay in Debs life and pull strings. What’s going to set him straight is: coming past and seeing an unidentified persons car out front for Deb. Irv wants his cake and to eat it to. As long as he can have that family life and still hoe around when he feels like it they are going to have issues. Deb needs to put her foot down and let him know that he can be a father to the kids without sitting in her face all the time. I really liked the first two episodes of College Hill Interns :: FIRSTLY – I met them in Chicago at Self-Conscious (a sneaker store). They literally showed up at an event I promoted (2nd anniversary for this sneaker/streetwear retailer) with a camera and a mic and the girl jenna got on the mic and they were recruiting ppl to go to some sean kingston concert at mcdonalds.
ALSO — they went to my h.s. that i graduated from :: WALTER PAYTON in the last episode.
this is far more promising than past seasons.

@ 51 – I soooooooo agree with everything you said. There are thousands of white women out there that are “homemakers” and take care of their kids while their husbands are bringing home the bacon. You don’t hear people calling them golddiggers!!!
I spent five years at home raising my two young children, while my husband finished school and started his career. I don’t blame Debb for not being so quick to jump up and get a damn job. Raising children is a FULL-TIME job. Many men, like my husband, are fully content with their wives staying at home. This is what a marriage is about.
My grandparents have been married for 52-years and my grandmother has always been a stay-at-home mother. Getting back out into the workforce after all that time would be equivalent to a prisoner being released and expected to find a job with no experience. ( I am not equating parenthood to living behind bars!!!)

I watched College Hill last nite and actually enjoyed it, but why do I need to know so much about the kids personal life..with does that have to do with winning a internship!
What I don’t get is — why is Irv and his wife so free to put their foolishness out there for the world to see? Do they not consider the impact on their children? Marriages go through problems and families do break-up, but do the children need to have that exposed for all of the world to tune in?
It can be tough coming up without all of the ammunition they are providing – and some things your kids just don’t need to know. If this is about your business, let it be about your business, if you love your children, protect them and show them a little more respect than this.
Damn – it’s real crazy… people will do anything to be on TV.
