I missed Salt N’ Pepa, but I caught part of Irv Gotti show.

Eva look nice, but mean.

I don’t watch ANTM no more, been stop watching last season.

First off, The Game is my show. I thinks its getting real juicy. I did see last nights episode and was surprised to see that the mommas boy is moving out and that he is trying get serious with the fat girl. Melanie is about to mess up big time if she sleeps with Malik, I cant wait to see what happens.

I did check out Salt-N-Peppas new reality show and it really made me laugh. I would have never thought these two would have grown so completly different but thats what long friendships really go through. I think that Salt is truly blessed in her Christian life and Peppa has it going on being the saucy person she is too. Its the best of both worlds and I will continue to watch and see how everyhting unfolds.

A.N.T.M…..I didnt think the makeover came out so bad but I did think that they could have just given her a sew in. However, we can tell that Bianca is so beautiful she can pull anything off from this point. Her face is gonna be her strong point.

@ # 77 “NINAGIRL”: the characters’ name is Renee so you no longer have to refer to her as the “The Fat Girl”; although she is playing a character that is how she looks in real life and she is beautiful no matter her size!!!

oh well bianca– love the bald look… but this is what happens when u dont take care of your weave—- trust i have been wearing weaves on and off for the past 5 years. when u have a sew in and u dont maintain it: washing it touching it up, taking it out every couple of months, the braids and hair underneath the tracks will lock up and become dread locks. u gotta take care of your weave better than wearing your hair regular. she can only blame herself for allowing her hair to lockup under the weave. ppl get a grip, how would she look with big clumps of locked hair and lint on her head. tyra and nem did the right thing. when her hair grows some more inches she will be able to get a sewin again or better yet she needs a hard wrap or some other hair contraption

In closing I will leave you with these reasons why I never gave him another chance although I had given him chances before. It really hurts to be deceived and cheated on, but what hurts worst than that when the female he cheated on you with is someone whom you thought was your best friend. not by a long shot, no not nicer, but what she was is one step above being a prostitute. You see prostitutes don’t have to be good looking or nice, just available.

The Salt & Pepa show is okay. I just don’t like the fact that it looks like Salt is very comfortable with her life and Pepa is trying to live like she is 21yrs old!!! Salt has matured while Pepa is still shopping in the junior clothing department!! Pepa I hopes re-evaluates her life b/c she totally looks like a Jamaican dancehall queen on this show and not to stereotype she looks like the stereotypical “Hoochie”. I know you gotta keep it real but c’mon!!! Her gyrating in church was a mess!! Her saying “damn” every time she changed her boots before the performance at church was a mess!!! I will watch the show just to see how they both “pimp” each other for the last 5 minuets of fame they have each not even adding up to 15 minuets!! By the way “The Game” is good!!! I know when Malik’s girl told him she didn’t like the fact that here boyfriend was living with his Momma and replied with when did she get the memo saying he was her boyfriend I said whoever wrote this episode and the season premiere got it right!! these “Knucklehead Fools” don’t know anything until it all blows up in there faces and then here comes the apologies and bullsh*@#%t. It nice to see a tv show w/ our folks on it showing relationships as they really are w/o it being a reality show which are totally scripted and show you the edited version. I haven’t seen a show with real(Black) relationships portrayed like this since “Martin and Gina”(joking). Good job Kelsey Grammer!!! I loved “Fraiser” just bring back “Toni Childs” to “Girlfriends” and stop getting rid of Joan’s potential mates!!!

I like the Salt N Peppa show as well as the Gotti show (can’t believe I admitted that lol).

I wasn’t really big on The Game at first but it grew on me.

Bianca’s attitude in the first episode was horrible she always wanted to put somebody down. However she needed that hair cut. I don’t know if anybody was really watching but her real hair was a mess. Some parts were very damaged long one place, broke off in other places. Not every Black woman can do a perm and color ( I’m one of them) that’s why when I iwant color I weave it.

I love the Game. The direction they are taking this is great. I am glad Renee got Malik to see that he was really too old to still live with his mama. I thought is was sweet that Tasha was having a hard time letting go of her baby.

I LOVED the Salt and Pepa show. I think that it is great how they show that these two are dramatically different now.
I did not think Salt was selfish. Maybe she was the way she left the group was, but she explained why she did it and apologized. She wants to leave a calm, Christian lifestyle. That’s what grown folks should be doing. I think she really wishes Pepa could understand her but she does not. You can tell she still loves Pepa like a sister, but she knows that when you are not on the same path its hard to still hang together tight. She wants their maturity to shine, but Pepa still wants to hang on to what they did as young women. That is over.
Now Pepa…..she saddens me because grown 35- 40 something year old women should be revelling in their maturity and not trying to go back to their glory years. She has not moved on because her mind is still sadly very worldly. She seems to be a geninunely sweet person, but her priorites don’t seem to be in order. She should not expect Salt to want to lay her spiritual and family life down just so she can stay famous. She is really the selfish one to me.

I am a slim person and I have to say that Renee is not fat. She is just thick and a very pretty girl.
Fat is the old Star Jones or old Oprah. That girl is hardly that.

Calling someone fat, ugly, bony or flat-chested are insults and we all know that. These are not mature ways to describe others and usually done but people desiring to make themselves feel better at others expense. Like I said I am slim, but I have no reason to call someone a name to feel better or claim that I am describing them.

Like my nana use to say to my sister when she had a weight problem, “Calling someone fat means nothing , because you can lose weight, but when you are ugly ( emotionally) that stays for alot longer”.

uh, wait a minute concrete loop, I saw the episode and Bianca had tired ass red/purple dye job, and honestly that won’t work for modeling. Bianca fucked her hair with over processing with the color and relaxing. She needed a fresh start.

Let me tell yall this, Black women, you are destroying yourselves with chemicals. Have you ever seen a strand of hair stand in the relaxer creme for more than 60 minutes, what happens, it breaks down, and turn the hair into liquid, what do you think that does to your hair? In reality relaxers have the same chemical make up as NAIR or any other hair removing product, just a wee bit lighter. If you relax your hair you are breaking down the cellular structure, killing your hair.

Not only that you are putting that crap on your head, on your scalp, on your skull. That shit absorbs into your skin, your blood stream and your brain. Kid you not. What these companies won’t tell you is that hair relaxers and other chemicals actually cause cancer, breast cancer at that which is scary. You may not believe me because you haven’t heard of it, because someone on TV never mentioned it, but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t true. The TV told you that certain diet pills and heart pills were alright to take but they have killed people. Why trust these companies to care about your well being, all they want is your money. You are essentially paying them to kill you.

Black Women learn to take care of yourselves, and love natural selves.

This girl Bianca told the cameras that she has always been told by her mother than short hair is ugly and I’m pretty sure she is one of those Black mothers who tell their children that nappy hair is ugly or makes you look like an African. Why believe that who you are naturally is ugly or worthless? C’mon now.

If you were meant to have straight hair, nature would have given it to you. If their are other natural non-permanent ways to straighten you hair, go for it, but their is not. Heat also fries your hair, literally. So how bout you leave your hair alone.

I challenge ALL Black women to go to the salon and tell their hairdresser to cut off your relaxer. I did it, and it was the most liberating thing I’ve ever did. I feel free to be me! When I did I walked out the salon with my head held high, proud. That was 2 years ago and my hair is now the most perfect short Afro, maybe 3-4″ straighten out and I’ve never felt so beautiful, Black and proud.

After I went natural I also went vegetarian, stopped using other products that were horrible for my health and started to really take care of myself.

Black women understand that yes we aren’t slaves like our ancestors were but we are enslaved in other ways. EVERY PRODUCT YOU USE is some bullshit chemical that you don’t need. Don’t you know that everything you need to survive grows directly from the earth? I know many of you won’t even consider eating a carrot fresh out of the groud or an apple directly from a tree but you’ll pay McDonald’s to give you a patty of mystery meat.

Black women you can use pure shea butter, palm oil, REAL cocoa butter and olive oil to take care of your hair and skin. If you’ve ever seen an African woman with perfectly smooth glowing skin it is because she uses those oils to take care of herself, not Victoria’s Secret, Lacome or Nivea. Don’t be fooled by all the fancy words and ads, its all marketing. What you need is natural oils and a nice healthy diet and your hair, nails and skin will grow and glow.

As for the women who don’t want to do it because they don’t want to be “baldheaded” or they need to time to let their hair grow out. What is this “long hair” infatuation, why do you need it? Does it makes you a better person, are you more beautiful that way? Why, who said that? If anyone is going to hate or mistreat you because of short hair, you don’t need them in your life anyway. Wanting long hair is just apart of our confusing self hate. You see that every other race has long flowing silky hair and you believe you have to look like that too. Do you ever think that as a Black person what you have is beautiful and unique. No other race of people have what you have. Black hair is incredibly versatile, we can do things with our hair that white girls can’t fathom. FLAUNT THAT. You know what I think is the coolest thing? When I see African American girls that wear traditional African hair styles (not microbraids). If you seek to be an individual do something edge with your hair, how bout you adopt a traditional African hairstyle?

And for the Black women who believe that African hair is too hard to work with, BULLSHIT. The problem with many Black girls is they don’t know how to take care of their hair, they are afraid of the kinkiness. All you have to do is wash your hair every week or so, condition it with natural oils, twist it up at night and pick it out in the morning. My nappy hair is soft ALL THE TIME, and I have some real “nigga” hair. It’s all about maintenance, Blacks girls you just have to re-learn how to take care of your hair. There are plenty of websites and books on this subject. Don’t be ashamed to look it up and learn how. Every month that you put those damn chemicals in your hair you are killing yourself.

As for weaves and extensions, nothing is totally wrong with that, our ancestors have braided all sorts of fibers into their hair, the thing with Black women today is that we use nasty glue and chemicals to keep that shit in our head. Why not be proud of your real hair? I’m tired of Black Women afraid to be seen without their weave, scared to get in the water, are overly concerned about their weave while having sex. If you had natural hair you would have to worry about non of that. Imagine that. You self confidence will shot right through the roof. Believe me.

Bianca’s ass needed her hair cut, so she can see that who she is naturally is beautiful, I don’t think she would have found out on her own because of her ignorance. All of you need to understand that. You don’t have to live in the white world, and live by western ideas of beauty. Black mama, you are beautiful just they way you are, naps, big lips, broad nose and all. LOVE who you are. Embrace it.

I love The Game and ANTM. The Game has become so much better than what I anticipated it to be. Eva looks wonderful and I happy she has had so much success.
I am happy CL posted spoilers for The Game. Also I think it is good ANTM shaved that girl head because she was so mean to everyone.

Actually Tyra went wigless for a few episodes back in season 2…remember when she put out that wack ass song and made the girls her video hoes? She wore her real hair than. she had it in cornrows.

But, I do have to agree that it was for the best to cut off that girls hair. It might not have been the most comfortable or the most desirable thing to do, but at the end of the day it was the most responsible and healthy thing to do for her. And in the end, I doubt she will wear the wig very often, because she carries the the baldy very well.

Exactly. It is apparent that Salt was more wise with her money , which is probably another reason that she is not hurried to go back to performing. Pepa on other hand probably has blown threw alot of her money. I would not be surprised if she was the one that pushed Salt to do this show, especially since she was on The Surreal Life show. Salt seems easily influenced by Pepa, to keep her happy, which is why she really has to keep her distance from her to maintain her peace of mind.

Salt N Pepa’s show is really good. Im looking forward to seeing the rest of the season.

Salt-N-Pepa….I felt both of them when they were talking with their manager. I could see where both sides were coming from. I thought it was funny when they were doing the show at Salt’s church and Pepa was slipping when she starting to get a little too sexy…Lol…Salt had to catch her…I don’t think this reunion will last, they both are apparently still too upset about what happened in the past and they both are so different now…I kinda felt bad for Pepa when Salt pulled her aside to check her about the lap dance…

I think her cut makes her features stand out more, it loos way better than that koolaid weave she had goin on. The real thing that was taken too far was when they permed that natural girls hair. Obviously the chick enjoyed and wanted to continue the natural look (look how long it grow out to) so why go and perm her hair? They are just setting her up for extreme damage just like this Bianca chick, now her hair will be thin and her ends will be spent. I hope she BC’s once the show is over tho.

I use to LOVE the show, I mean I would run home from wherever I was to not miss this show. It has GOTTEN TOO DUMB NOW. I mean its like they are trying so hard to think of the craziest things to keep the show on the air. For instance, “You are going to be taking a photo today hanging upside down from a tree and a bannana hanging out of your mouth and talking on the phone and then flipping around and jumping off the tree and landing on your head”. I mean the stuff is outragous and dumb now.

And yes the girls hair was broken off but please they could have sewn some hair on her hair, it didnt have to be completely cut off. They just wanna add DRAMA to the show. Tyra hasnt worn her natural hair since she graduated from high school. I know her real hair is Jacked underneath that fake hair!!

I caught the Salt and Pep show and it is refreshing realtity tv especially since it follows that NewYork show! Its nice after all that chaos to see some level of normalcy—IRV GOTTI’S SHOW HAS THEM ALL BEAT THOUGH-HE IS AN ENTERTAINING DICK!!!!

i’m gonna have to catch those reruns on sunday because i never remember to watch regular tv shows anymore, too much stuff on cable. i did like the game the couple of times i did catch it though, as for antm i think Bianca can carry the look off but I don’t think sh’e gonna win. I like Selisha but that picture they chose last week was awful…I like the other black girl, can’t remember her name, but her pictures are fierce!!

I don’t think Salt is trying to change Pepa at all. She is not forcing her to do anything, she merely mentioned that she was not comfortable and that they are grown ups. Its sad that Salt has to remind Pepa’s behind that they are grown and somebody’s mama. It seems more like Pepa is almost forcing Salt by making her continously feel guilty over leaving the group abruptly. That is why I am glad Salt apologized early in the show so Pepa can stop using this as something to hold over her head.

I saw the S-N-P show last night and I loved it. It should be interesting to see what happens with them in the long run. The Irv Gotti show was good as well with him and his estranged wife trying to remainly for the kids. It’s gonna be good.

Tyra is phony and visually annoying as fukk, which is why I can’t stomach her shows.
Every time she talks, the conversations ALWAYS comes back to her life, her experiences, her opinions.
Both she and MISS J are really biased and overly critical of the black models on her show. I’m beginning to believe it was Naomi’s bitchiness toward her back when she modeling that has caused her to dislike other black models in general.
I don’t watch the show, but do read blogs and what they did with that girl Bianca is ridiculous. They could’ve invested more time in her by giving her a decent wig.
The short do isn’t something I’d wear, but it looks good on Bianca.

My sister & I call each other on every commercial during AMTM and we both said we hope Tyra cuts all her hair off and then send her home, still got my fingers crossed shes ugly inside and out, she hates on others but now she can hate on herself silly little beyotch.. I lov Shalisha but wtf did Tyra do to her hair if Tyra would have cut her hair off she could been fierce instead she looks like effing Paul McCartney in his Beatles heyday… one other observation did anybody else notice that Ebonys hair was effed up if NOT MORE than Bianca’s but they worked with her $hit??

It is possible to have colour and a relaxer in your hair at the same time. You just really need to ensure that you maintain and treat your hair. I have a relaxer and the top part of my hair is dyed red. I’ve been red for a little over a year now. Again maintenance is key, and regular hair treatments and you can go with healthy hair. Also limiting the chemical processes is key. Instead of bleaching every 6-8 weeks opt to put a rinse on the hair. That way you still keep the vibrant colour without any further chemical process. And limiting the relaxers instead of every 6 weeks opt for 8-10 weeks

I agree that people can have “healthy” hair with chemicals (well not as damaged as normal chemically treated hair), and I dont think that everyone with a perm has self hatred issues. I am natural (dont use heat or chems), but that doesnt mean I am more enlightened than the next sistah. I think we all need to just respect other people’s choices when it comes to hair. Nobody should be asking people “when are they gonna perm”, and nobody should be asking “when are you gonna go natural”.

i think people need to give tyra a break with this makeover thing. First off biancas hair was very damaged and even before they decided to shave it off I was thinking how are they gonna both reperm and re dye that hair without extreme breakage. The FACT IS, if they wouldve cut less off without shaving it and if they wouldve redyed it and repermed it, it wouldve fell out anyways. And being a victim of hair loss due to a bad perm, its psychological thing. Watching your hair fall out for weeks is way worse then getting it cut off. And at the end your hair grows back and mine actually got alot longer. I have really long thick hair now that goes to the middle of my back and i am all black. You cant do anything & everything to your hair without consequences. Sooner or later bianca was going to be bald atleast this time she can say her hair is like that because shes a model and its edgier.

oh yeah @ #61. I overheard at the hair salon that your not supposed to put the actual track glue on the scalp and you are supposed to put it closest to but on the hair. Because when you put it on the scalp you risk pulling the root out and when you have it on the hair closest to the scalp you just sit conditioner & oil in your hair and after a few hrs the track releases from the hair. I dont know much about weave but you might want to recheck that one incase you’re giving out the wrong information to frequent weaveables.

‘The Game’ is and has been THE show for the past couple of seasons. It’s really juicy with some gorgeous actors(Hosea Chanchez) and some hilarious writing(Wendy Racquel Robinson). Mara Brock Akil has done it again,move over ‘Girlfriends’.

Salt n Pepa was pretty good last night. LOL, at Pepa at the church performance!

I think Bianca actually looks like a model now. They couldn’t help but shave her head, she had hair bonded to her face, not to mention the damage!

She’ll be fine. If she deep conditions her hair once a week and keeps it moisturized, her hair will be back in no time.

As a fan of Salt&Pepa I have to disagree with those who feel that it was one member over another who made the group what it was! Salt &Pepa were a package,and together they were a dynamic duo and force to be reckoned with. I caught the last few minutes of the Salt &pepa show,and have seen preview snippets leading up to the first episode,and have to say that so far I like it. I plan to watch a rerun of entire episode this evening. I ‘ll pass on that I luv NewYork bullshyt, but tune in for the Salt &Pepa shpw because it doesnt appear to be scripted.It s as real as the Real world used to be when it first came on the sir years ago.
We get to see what the ladies have indivudually have been going through, what caused the break up of the group, and how they mend their friendship ,and possibly rap career ,by compromising without losing too much of who they currently are in the process! Whether your a long time fan of the group( I am) watching them work this thing out will still be interesting,because they are humans leik thre rest of us with complex issues like many of us! Salt is now a woman of God(Christian) who appears to be comfortable with her new lifestyle ,even if its away fromt he public eye,and Pepa misses and still enjoys the fame associated with being a member of Salt &Pepa. Salt is a changed woman obviously.Pepa is still kinda “out there”.

I wanted to beat Derwin’s azz when he cheated on Melanie. I was mad as hell!!! I love the game, though. That season finale was awesome!

Salt n Pepa are aging nicely IMO.

Bianca looks 1000% better with the baldie….that ghetto ass red hair was NOT a good look for her. She looked like an aardvark or something. Hopefully this was a humbling experience for her because the way she was coming for Saleisha was very grand!

This season’s makeovers were not as extravagant as usual.
