This incident really makes me sad for many different reasons. “If you live by the sword, you will die by the sword” is certainly true in this case.You cannot be involved in a shady lifestyle and not expect to be burned by it. When it come to news media you can’t believe everything they say, cause most of the stories are one-sided. More than likely, TI will not talk about this until his trial. The smart thing to do. This is the only way we are truely going to know what happens and his side of it. So until then, I feel he is innocent.

I went downstairs to TI’s initial appearance and he tried to look strong. His eyes welled up when he saw his mother and other family members. Trial was scheduled to begin at 3 but it took awhile to settle everyone down and get “most” of his family seated. Many couldn’t remain in the courtroom b/c there is no standing allowed. Tiny didn’t get there until right when they were leading him back out. When they told him he had to stay in custody until Friday, he was visibly upset but he held his head high like a man. Now, let me be the first to say that I am praying for him, but in my experience he made one very grave mistake: agreeing to meet a so-called employee at a freaking parking lot to engage in illegal activity. LOL. Basically, it shows willful intent. Once this bodyguard said he couldn’t come to the studio, a BIG RED FLAG should’ve gone off and he should’ve walked away and told him “get back at me when you CAN meet me at the studio”. I can’t believe he fell for this. He should’ve know better even from his drug dealing days. It’s just ridiculous and this may REALLY cost him some time. There is no such thing as being sentenced to “just” probation on federal charges…he may plead or whatever but he’s probably looking at some time. I say probably b/c at the end of the day it’s all up to the jury (hope he’s luck in that area). Best wishes TI!!!!

I want to give everyone here this link because it shows one of the probable causes that T.I. needed those machine guns and silencers. A situation occured at a night club called Body Tap where T.I. and his entourage engaged in a physical altercation. Of course, Tiny was there, and she was cheerleading the fight on. (Remember she’s Ride or Die people lol). So of course, the witnesses at the club tend to presume that T.I.’s arrest of the arsenal was because of the altercation and that he might of probably want to use them in case another one occured…

He will suffer the consequences of his dumb actions, simple as that. All the “free T.I” mess is ridiculous also. Those machine guns and silencer’s could have very well been used in the murder of someones close relative or maybe even yours. The idol worshipping is getting out of hand. I deliberately waited to see the reaction of the Black community in relation to TI. He and Denzel just made a “New Godfather Movie” and there had to be a backlash. Here’s why TI is not in trouble. Are you ready? Peep this logic? Does a convicted felon, celebrity, or rap star lose the right to “Self-Defense?” TI hired a security firm to protect and defend his life and property. In the performance of this duty, the firm purchaced weapons to be stored in TI’s home. Clearly, no prior conviction or status can rob anyone of the right to self-defense. These weapons were not used in the commission of a felony. The purchase was illegal due to a government sting. In short, is it the government’s case that all celebrities must hire “Blackwater” to avoid additional scrutiny? How can someone that hired a security firm be held responsible for mistakes of that security firm? TI like anyone else is entitled to security. Clearly, he needs additional security. How much protection can Kung Fu do? The American justice system is out of control because they refused to protect America against 9-11. TI can’t repel planes, but he could hold off a small army. Can he fight off an army of government lawyers? He has a right to self-defense and no court or fear can rob him of that right. TI can beat this case because he hired a private security firm to provide protection for his private property. No crimes were committed.

That’s part of the problem.

If TIP/TI hadn’t given him the money to buy the guns there would have been nothing to “snitch” on. The man is a convicted felon, it’s a crime. If he was worried about retaliation or being a target then he should have hired legitimate security.

what you fail to realize is that after the bodyguard cooperated with the federal agents, the feds recorded the conversation especially when he was with T.I in the car. The first conversation the bodyguard had with T.I., he didnt speak to him directly, at first it was another bodyguard of T.I.’s that was asking when was he going to be able to service him again, then T.I. got on the phone and spoke briefly about the weapons.The second conversation occured when the bodyguard called T.I. but was only to receive his voicemail so T.I. called back on the desired number so they can speak about the weapons and the location to pick them up. He told the bodyguard to specifically see someone who had withdrawn the $12,000 and the person secretly handed it to him. Plus if you dont believe this part, im sure they will have the surveillance cameras showing T.I. or Tiny withdrawing $12,000 on that particular day if it isnt true. T.I on his part, wanted the weapons to be delivered to his studio, but the bodyguard insisted on them meeting at the Walgreens parking lot. Thats where the final conversation took place where the bodyguard was wired and the feds overheard T.I. asking the specifics about the weapons for example ” NO FLASH, NO BANG” so in that case whether he knew or not if he was being watched, he should have never said so much in the recordings because those were concrete evidence that he wanted to purchase such arsenal.
