If I were Usher I would not give any interviews about my relationship because 1. people are not going to believe it and 2. whatever he and she say about how much in love they are with each other and how long it will last, might bite them in the butt if it does not work out. If he wants to be married to her so be it, but I think he is trying to hard to prove that she is the right one for him and everyone else is wrong. who cares how they fell in love….what counts is if it will last. I do believe alot of people dislike Tameka for superficial reasons (her looks, her age), but if he feels she is the one for him then who cares. I don’t have to wake up next to her.

I think the problem has mainly been the fact that they look so odd together. Usher should be with a pretty, delicate girly chick. Not this big muscular hulk of a grown ass momma. Tameka has actually done NOTHING for people to hate on her. All the hate has basically stemmed from the fact that she doesn’t look like the type of woman we expected Usher to be with. But i guess thats the society we live in & i feel ashamed to be part of this superficial culture. If they are in love then good luck to them. We really need to get a grip and stop hating on our own people needlessly, its embarassing. My guess is that a lot of the posters in here (and on the net in general) are young. If you still base relationships on looks then you are young or young-minded. Relationships and marriage especially is HARD. It’s hard work keeping a family together and keeping each other happy. Of course you would not know this if you are still text messaging guys you like or getting your friends to tell them you like them.

In the real, grown up world, people enter in relationships for a myriad of reasons but at the end of the day it’s about respect, love, and decency. Perhaps this woman treats him like a real person, comforts him and listens to his concerns. Perhaps she gives him advice on things he didn’t get from other women. Hell, maybe she’s a beast in the sack and isn’t lazy and thinks she’s too good (or too pretty) to put in any work.

Either way, unless you are married and deal with the day to day realness of that level of committment, you cant really talk about someone else’s marriage. Period.

I don’t think that the reason for all of the dislike towards Takema is her and her age.
I think it largely has to do with how the ish went down. The beef with his mother, then the mother is no longer his manger, then she’s pregnant. Her criminal record. She has other children, and the bs with her children’s father. Her own family put her business out on the street. The beef with chilli, who by the way -I think should be where tameka is and would be if usher wouldn’t have fucked it up.
