Usher, 29, and wife Tameka Foster, 37, gave their first interview to U.S. magazine Essence about their emotional year - and how it has brought them closer. They insist they are amazed at the public interest in their wedding, surrounded by rumors of feuds with the star’s mother and with the wedding initially mysteriously scrapped with just hours to go. But they insist they are closer than ever - especially now Tameka is expecting their first child together.
“Tameka’s given me one of the greatest gifts I’ll ever have,” Usher says. “With a child, now I have purpose. I understand love. “I’ve grown in every aspect of my life. And Tameka is the woman who helped get me to that place.”
He added: “I was determined to find the right woman… I just didn’t know she was standing in front of me the whole time.” He adds: “God says the role of the husband is to protect his wife,” he said. “I hope people realize that my son is my son, and my wife is my wife. “And when someone has an issue with them, they have an issue with me.” He admits that their relationship has run a strange course. “Ours is not a typical love story,” Usher conceded. “But it is a true one.”

Usher seem to be a real nice guy who has made a couple mistakes in his life just like others, however give it a rest Usher. If your fans don’t like you wife then they don’t like you wife and if you don’t like well I going to suggest to get out of the lime-light.
Also, if there is so must love, why isn’t that we only see you and Tameka, where is her other kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The problem with the marriage is there is only one of you true to the game. Usher wake the hell up.

as always mothers know best, someone should tell usher rule 15 never get involved with the person that gave you advice .if your mother feels shes corny then she needs to go ,as for tameka your manipulations will come back on your kids

Hey Usher God also said honor thy mother and father so that thy days be long. Ummm I think you are counting down as we speak dude. Ta-man-iko is a MAN and you love him because of it. I will believe that she is preggers when I see it. I hope that baby looks like Usher’s brother, the cute one in the family, because with Man-iko genes and Ushers nose its bound to be one ugly kid. Yeah I said it!

I agree with the person who asking when the next albums out coz i been waitin a while now. im starting to lose interest. As 4 Tamika or wateva i guess we all dont know her but my spirit jus cnt tek her , smthin seems really outta place but hey who am i guess my opinion dnt count. and i heard she ditched her kids for him too doesnt that kinda raise any alarm bells to Usher ..al i can say is Chilli had a lucky escape as far as am concerned coz as fine as usher is or used to be depending which it is , he looks like da real emotional typa man u know insecure ones, and well so does tamika so guess they deserve each other… Wander what the baby would look like? hmmm
