Somebody up thread mentioned it….MJB’s “Enough Crying”. I knew this track sounded like something off “The Breakthrough”. I hate it when producers get lazy and pass around the same beat, especially between MJB and Ms. Cole. That will never work in Ms. Cole’s favor, given the comparisons people already make with her to Mary. I got the cd - it’s actually pretty good, very well paced. The production is much better on this album. This a smart second single - uptempo and a nice video to go with. She can save ‘Didn’t I Tell You’, track #2, **THE** track from this album, as the 3rd single and then drop a slow jam. For some reason, I’m really feeling #7, “Heaven Sent” or #5, “I Remember” . That will take her into next summer….

The negroes in the vid r fine as hell. This vid is just too corny & cheesy, considering its Keyshia, c’mon now, the whole beach scene, it looks like a real bad version of Rihanna’s “if its lovin that u want”. Not feelin the bright as fuck blonde & her homegirl rapping is whack, she looks scared when she’s lookin into the camera.

the song has a striking resemblance to “enough cryin” because it was produced by the same person who produced mary’s “enough cryin” - rodney ‘darkchild’ jenkins, hence, this song and mary’s song will sound very similar (but isnt it ironic, because people are comparing her to be the next queen of hip hop soul?!)… anyway, i love the song, but the video doesnt match it… i expected a more violent keyshia cole, but to each his own.. do ya thang, keyshia!

Overall i think the concept of the video is real cheesy, but I will say that Keyshia looks GREAT! I feel like she’s trying to be more positive and it shows. Which brings me to the next thing, home girl does NOT need to dance! Lord have mercy honey chile! Stick to singing, PLEASE. Anyway…Keysh reminds me of MJ…The Way It Is is like Mary’s Wahts the 411? Just Like You is similar to My Life. This girl is going straight to the top. She also reminds me of Faith Evans who is soulful and who like Keyshia is half Italian. K has got to show that smile more, its very fitting! I don’t see anything wrong with Keyshia trying to be sexy. She’s sexy without being slutty and that’s the trick in the industry that most girls including yes B, fail to understand. Unlike Beyonce, who I”m starting to get more and more frustrated with, Keyshia would’ve put some clothes on her ass for her audience in Malyasia! WTF was taht about?
