Although I can feel his pain(my father was a heroin addict from the age of 17 until his death at 46) I would not have told the public. I hope he really wants to get her help and this is not a publicity scheme to sell more records ( record labels dont give a damn) It just seems odd that he had been going through this all this time and never talked about it, now his album is getting pushed back and he’s on MTV telling it all. Showing the whole world that she is an addict will only piss her off when she gets the back lash after the show airs, my mother went on Oprah with my father’s story and all hell broke loose. Sad.

Mario, I understand perfectly well what you are going through. I have a sibling that has two small children; a 8 year old daughter and a 10 year old son. It’s very sad when I see them; when I pick them up after their mother have left them home alone with the ill father. Her 10 year old son is usually in tears and her daughter is holding back tears. You mother reminds me so much of my sister; they sleep all day for days after the rest they get up and leave for days. Mario, you are soooo special; I’m proud of you; I’m proud that you didn’t hide what you are going. My neice and my nephew tuned in to watch your speical about your mother; it help me to explain to my niece and nephew that the are not alone. I told them you made it despite the odds. Both my neice & nephew got a better understanding of what their mother is goining through, they also didn’t feel so alone; I told them if you can (Mario) make it they can also make it; I told them to stop crying and pray. That is the only thing left now is to pray. I love you Mario; stay strong I’m with you.
