I seen this video on VH1 this morning and I really couldn’t get into it. I like the song just not for Mary. It’s funny KeKe Whyat (sp?) said when Geffen bought out MCA they wanted everyone to be pop thats why she found another label. I kind of see what she saying with this knew Mary stuff and Keyisha Cole and Eve (both of their new videos are extra pop).
I really like this song and video a lot. Its a good look for her. But it kind of has the vibe of the Alicia Keys song “No One”.

I think she killing it in this video. She looks good, sounds good and the song is cool. Maybe not a Mary “classic” but she has grown past that stage in her life when she singing about pain & suffering. I’m glad that she is trying something new.
