Here is another edition of Rock’d It Better with Beyonce and Rihanna. Beyonce was spotted wearing those hot Dsquared brass knuckle heeled boots in New York. Some of you may remember when Rihanna wore them a while back in NY while visiting 106 & Park. Although the two almost look identical, which one of the singers rock’d it better?
I’m sorry…I usually like everything that both of them wear…but those shoes are hideous..ugh…bad idea.

I think Rihanna’s hair goes with the shoes and also the all black. Beyonce’s hair gets in the way and the striped shirt doesn’t compliment the shoes =] in my opinion.

I think Rihanna rocked it better because she has some gold around her neck and her sleeves have gold on it too. She matched the outfit very well considering how UGLY those shoes are.

Beyonce has Bigger Thighs which is spoiling the whole outfit.Rihanna rocked it better,she looks slender,tall and fit and that make the boots even more noticeable.DSquare2 didn’t ask her to do the catwalk lately in Milan for them for nothing.They know what style is,and she can represent that.

I believe the reason why they have put Rih and Bey is also because their outfits have similarities,and if Diddy can read ConcreteLoop,am sure Bey or her people do too and something tells me she(Bey) wore that outfit on purpose,so that she can end up on Who rocked it better.She must have seen Rih on 106 rocking it,definitely I can bet on that.
Personally, I probably wouldn’t wear those boots–thats just me. Not everyone can rock that.
With concern to the poll, I’d have have to say Rhiana rocked it WAAAAAAAAY better, hands down. Although Beyonce had a good attempt, the long sleeves on her jacket interferes with the overall flow of the outfit, plus I’m not sure whether its her ill fitting jeans(that don’t quite make it into the boot…) or the way she’s standing, but it makes the boots look alot more clunky(see:”cloghoppers”) then they probably are. All in all it seems like she is trying a bit too hard with this one…it all appears very bogged down.
Rhianna allows the simplicity to flow in her try with the boots. She looks very fresh and it flows with her overall style anyway. I like the fact that the sleeves are rolled up so its no so much killer black going on..a bit of skin is nice. Her accessories are toned down with thinner layered chains. It all comes together nicely for her and looks effortless…as if you know those clothes had been in her closet for awhile and she just decided that day to put it on…while in Beyonce’s case it looks more like she saw some weird/hot (depending upon who’s looking at them) boots and thought “ooo, I have to find some things to wear with this!”….it all boils down to trying too hard vs. natural flow of personal style.
And please…people…before anyone even gets the slightest idea to start acting a fool…do not make this into a STAN-infested post…do NOT make this into a beyonce songs/singing ability vs. rhianna songs/singing ability thing. We are discussing a pair of crazy ass boots coordinated with an outfit. That’s it. Get over it.
Those shoes are ugly though. I think B fills the fit properly and Ri has it more plainer.

I think Rihanna rocked it better, simply because something seems off about the way Beyonce is dressed here. Maybe it’s because we all know that this doesn’t seem to be Beyonce’s personal style, but moreso Rihanna’s. Rihanna just looked natural in hers, like the boots just “fit” on her, she always looks fierce, and while some people think she has a strange style, I think it suits her perfectly, because you can tell that she truly loves that look, and she feels comfortable, and if you feel comfortable with a certain style, you can make almost anything look good. Bee looks like she’s experimenting/trying too hard/uncomfortable or something. I don’t know, it just doesn’t go.
I think Beyonce killed the vibe of the outfit by pairing those necklaces/chains with that shirt, those bunched leggings, AND the wavy hair, like I said, it’s just… off. I think she always looks cute, but those boots aren’t for everybody, IMO.
So definately, Rihanna rocked it better, once again.

Earlier this summer when I saw these amazing shoes on Miss.Rihanna, I was shocked that she wore them so effortlessly. I vote for Rihanna because she looks like the type that would wear something so bold. She seems to think outside the box and her stylist thinks the same. She never seems to try too hard. I just think her whole look is on point.
As for Miss.Beyonce. I don’t like the way her thighs look with the jacket and shirt. Her pants leg should have covered the boots and the material is awful for someone her size. Also, she should have worn a light leather jacket (cropped) a different color shirt to go with her jewelry. I think that she is trying to reinvent her style. That why she’s been looking off lately. Why don’t she just do something different with her hair and rock it with a shoulder length cut. It would look good and she could pull it off.
I don’t see a difference in how they wore it..they wore the same jeans..although I will say the boots look better with skinny jeans on top instead of tucked in

I sooooo disagree about Beyonce’s slightly larger thighs (because they’re only a tad larger than Rihanna’s) making the boot look worse…it’s exactly the opposite, IMO…On smaller legs the boots look larger,clunky… I think they look best on Beyonce, but, as always, her outfit is forced, busy, and ultimately unsuccessful…
