Here is another edition of Rock’d It Better with Beyonce and Rihanna. Beyonce was spotted wearing those hot Dsquared brass knuckle heeled boots in New York. Some of you may remember when Rihanna wore them a while back in NY while visiting 106 & Park. Although the two almost look identical, which one of the singers rock’d it better?

There’s NO question Rhi rocked those boots better. How could anyone object?? They just make more sense with her outfit than they do with Beyonce’s. I like Rhi’s overall style alot more than Beyonce’s. She has edge, Beyonce has done over-the-top glam for soooo long that she has dissensitized us to the point of boredom. I think Bey is a beauty, even with dark hair, but she does look quite, er, bloated in that particular photo. big chunky boots are much more flattering on long, slender legs…they only add insult to thicker stems. Those shoes are the shit, btw!

I think Beyonce rocks it on the “better for my body type” tip; Rihanna gets the go-ahead on coordination/rockability.
Beyonce’s shirt clashes so much with the “edginess” of the boot that I’d be impossible to pull that look off in real life. However, the size of Rihanna’s leg is almost the same as the boot’s heels. That’s not a good correlation. This is one of those fashion items that must be balanced with YOUR particular body. Clunky, heavy boots do not belong on Twiggy legs. And a word to my fellow commenter: just because you’re bigger than someone else, it doesn’t mean you’re overweight.

Rihanna seems to have the whole package going, the whole look just FITS. With Beyonce, it kind of just looks like she threw everything together. I’m def not feeling her tucking her pants (or wearing tights …whichever) with the boots and the gray in the shirt throws it way off…
