NE-YO speaks with BIG TIGGER on 95.5
Ne-Yo spoke with Big Tigger on his radio show on Tuesday about being dropped from the R.Kelly ‘Double Up’ tour earlier this week. He said it was foul the they dropped him and it kind of takes it personally. Here are the main points:
- On the Columbus, Georgia stop R.Kelly took over 7 dressing rooms. And Ne-Yo had to fight just to get one.
- No one could be in the hallway while R.Kelly was walking through.
- Concert reviewers were giving Ne-Yo great reviews and R.Kelly must have taken offense.
- Ne-Yo was suppose to get 4 hours to rehearse his set, but they tried to kick him off the stage in 2.
- He also speaks on the Keyshia Cole rumor.
Talk about effed up! Anyway, in a press release earlier this week Ne-Yo apologized to his fans about not being able to perform for them.
I was at the Columbus, GA and was very disappointed with the fact that Keyshia didn’t perform. Whatever the reasoning was shouldn’t matter! She had a job to do and instead decided to piss off an auditorium full of people and two respected concert promoters. As far as R.Kelly goes, they knew he was difficult to work with so they shouldn’t complain now!!! And yes, NE-YO did his thing and had much better dancers!!!!!

R. Kelly……….Piece of shit. Why is his “music” still being bought, why is he still being supported?

First of all, before everybody starts bashing R. Kelly again, it’s important to get BOTH sides of the story. Look who we’re comparing Kells to: he’s a musical genius, has been in the game for 17 years–if the man want’s his space in the hallway, give him his space! Furthermore, those “go to jail” comments are pissing me off even more. That’s the problem with society today! We’re quick to esteem somebody when there in the spotlight, but even quicker to defame and slander his name for sickening rumors. I’ve seen Robert Kelly on tour a couple of times, recently in Birmingham, AL and from what I’ve seen firsthand, he’s the most humble, rich man you can ever encounter. One part of the show, he was teary-eyed and asked the audience the question, “After all I’ve been through, mu**afu**ers still calling on Kells?” Who am I to cast judgment on the next man for his indiscretions? At the end of the day, Robert Sylvester Kelly doesn’t have to answer to me neither does he have to answer to you. The only reason his alleged sins are so public is because of his status. LEAVE HIM ALONE! Back to Neo, before this whole concert mess, I thought he was arrogant and too “big-headed” to be so new to the industry. Who is he to put a veteran on blast? Come on, Neo–know your place. Again, respect R. Kelly for what he has done for the industry and stop associating his “alleged” sins with his professional career–they are separate and distinct! Besides, it is customary law in the U.S. that a man is presumed innocent until proven guilty and dog-on-it, he has NOT been convicted of any of those frivolous crimes!

I was in Columbia, SC on Dec 29th and R. Kelly’s show is the bomb!!!!! I don’t care what yall haters say…the boy’s show is fierce. On the real, yall keep forgetting, R. Kelly doesn’t handle stuff like that. The entertainment company is out of Atlanta, GA and it doesn’t belong to Kells. He signed on with them to handle the touring. Ne-Yo is pointing the finger at him and maybe Kells is feeling himself (lmao!). But it’s apples and oranges to me. Ne-Yo may do a good show but save it for another tour, buddy!
What in da hell gives yall any reason to say dat Ne-yo ain’t got nuthin on R.kelly……shoot I’d rather have Ne-yo singing to me den sum ugly ass, monkey lookin dude. Ya he got some good stuff but still, come on. no one tops Ne-yo.
