I love Toni Morrison and am very glad she’s receiving yet another accolade to add to her collection. Her work is very complex and not easy to understand but she is a literary genius…and I thoroughly enjoyed ‘The Bluest Eye’.

@ 57….There is a lot of controversy between Black Americans and African-Americans (yes, there’s a difference). But Iman is cool. She’s not one of the many who look down at American born Blacks thanks to the negative images media outlets filter and send to them. I know it’s a little off subject but they only hear about the bad stuff when it comes to us. It’s not until they get here, live here and then they see the difference.
