Please can someone tell me why a show like this that has such a great storyline and great actors is not getting more publicity, but that mess Gossipgirls is all the praise all over the tube? It is a shame when in 2007 almost 2008 black actors and actresses cant get any respect from the mainstream media. I was watching tv guides hottest new faces in the biz and do you know there was not one black face on that show. The had the whole cast of gossip girls and some other show talking about how beautiful they are and all that mess. Not one black face……Icant believe it. I should have written them instead of wasting my anger and words on a blog.

I hear you but the problem is that when I look at a tv show with only black people in the cast (almost since you always have one white chick), i feel like it is only for black people. And my white friends think the same way too, the scenari is not enough global because they make joke on white people and stuff like that, do you think a white people would not be offended to hear that they are flat or all the cliche balck have on white. Gossip girl is not better but it is talking to a generation and not to a community that is the difference!! Just like as a black people, i used to watch beverly hills and they were no black in the main cast!! But we have good actors, like Samuel L jackson and Denzel Wshington etc.. If you want a show to be generally praised, you should be able to have a multiracial cast because basically, segregation will never stop if we do not see black and white TOGETHER, on TV so why do you want to see that on the streets?!!!

They don’t feel the plot line will appeal to the masses because it’s about Black people and Black life – and they definitely do not want to promote the white woman with a brother, — so it will get no shine, but they will not take it off just yet because it is being watched and getting plenty of advertisers to pay.

Considering that everybody in Junior Mafia has fallen off…I have to give Kim credit for sustaining herself (with the help of GOD of course). The music business is unforgiving so I would say that she did a pretty good job for herself. I think the old kim will resurrect on her next album but I plan to get the bootlegged copy. LOL.
