So sad to see! My mother passes away in Jan of this yr and it’s still very hard to deal w/so I can just imagine what he’s going through! My heart goes out to you Kanye during this difficult time. Try to stay strong!

Kanye its going to be ok big dawg! but think…she’s in heaven now, looking over how her son is still growing and how he’s going to make a profound commitment to cause, so that everyone can have a greater chance like you. I appreicate the program you and your mother started and I have donated.

this is too sad. no matter what age you are always your mother’s baby and losing a mother is one of the worst things. i’m surprised he’s performing so soon. Kanye, take time out to overcome the grief, no one expects you to jump right back into things.

Damn Kanye. All I can say is it WILL get easier. I dont cry when I talk about my dad anymore. I can actually laugh and smile when I think of him now. It took years for me to get here but one day Kanye you will be able to do the same. You wont dwell on the fact that she is gone and you will be able to enjoy every wonderful memory you have of her. Stay strong and we see you trying to stay busy. Whatever gets you through this.

I feel so incredibly sad for him right now…I know what is it like to lose a parent; I lost my father to cancer THE DAY I GRADUATED. That was so horrible for me. But I think most men are closer to their mom. My mother became my dad, too, and she is everything to me. We’d like to think that people will live forever, but sadly, it is not the case. It’s so wonderful to know that he has so many people who care about him and are genuinely concerned about his well being. And we all know that what doesn’t kill you…will only make you STRONGER.

He is trying to keep himself busy by performing, but Kanye you need to take a small break. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! You will get through this.

My heart TRULY goes out to Kanye! My eyes are full right now. I can’t even begin to imagine what he’s going through. He tried to be strong by even attempting to go out so soon after his loss. I would probably be down for years if my mom left. God Bless You, Kanye. I love you and I’m praying for you.

The admiration, and love he has for his mother was beyond measure and we all could see she felt the same for him, I hope he forever understands that she was immensly proud of him and his great accomplishments. Though this kind of pain never goes away it does lessen over time, and we all look forward to the day when you get stronger from this experience. wow, that was so sad. I can’t really relate to his situation, but only imagine the struggle he’s going through. The crowd did a great job of showing him support and love though with all the candles and people yelling “be strong, kanye.” For such a devastating tragedy, the support that he has received from the world is beautiful.

Eddie, I am not sure if you lost your mother or not, but dude s personally hate when people say, “she’s in heaven looking over you”. I lost my mother when I wuz 11 years old. She died suddenly like Kanye’s mom did, from a brain anurysm. His mother’s passing brought back alot of memories, sadness and I personally felt his pain. His mother passed on November 10. My mother would have made 60 yrs old that day.. In my opinion, it’s always better to say, “i’ll be praying for you” or “stay strong”. That’s always easier than “she’s in heaven looking over you” or she’s in a better place”. Don’t nobody want to hear that, i know i did’nt. Cause i wanted my mommy with me here. 20 years later..I’m ok with her looking over me.. Kanye I know you blog on tis site and if you ever read tis, I would like for you to know, although I dont know you, I feel your pain.. I’ll keep you in my prayers, and when I pray for my strenght. I will pray for your’s as well… God bless you and your family…

Just got back from his second show in Brussel, Belgium today. And I must say MUCH RESPECT “YE!!
It was a wonderful great performance!! One of the best I’ve seen in a long time…
I also wanted to hug him and tell him it’s gonna be alright, it was very emotional
But I also think it’s a good thing he’s back already doing his thing.
My father passed away in january and I also started working very quick after it happened. It felt good to have my mind on something else as well, besides all that pain..
In a few months or weeks he will get a sign from his soul/body and take some rest and go through it..Be strong and much love

Kayne has been in my thoughts for the past week… I dont know what to say when people lose thier loved ones but the fact that he still tried to perform through his pain made my respect for him grow even more. This video broke my heart…watching such a strong and opinionated dude breakdown the way he did is hard to watch. His music has gotten me through some rough times no lie, and his passion for music is inspiring. I know how it feels to lose a family member close to your heart (has lost several) and to this day i’m still not fully over it. Stay strong Ye, we love u man and we wish you and yours nuthin but the best. You’ll get through this man and when you do, you’ll be betta than eva, trust me. Like you said for yourself “That that don’t kill me, can only make me stronger”…

This video really made my heart sink, i dnt even know Kanye West or his mother personally and i felt just the same amount of sadness as if I did. I physically wanted to jump through this computer screen and give him a hug, just embrace him because sometimes you dnt need sympathetic words you just need to be held. Why are they making him perform? this is too tragic of a time for him to be working, he needs to be left alone from the worries of this industry for atleast 6 months and that still isn’t enough. My dad died when I was 12, it took me years to stop bursting into tears at random moments,i’m now 19 and I’m still deeply hurt.
