Wow. I absolutely love this song. I see why it didn’t make the original release of As I Am, but I am absolutely loving this song. From Alicia’s voice, to the arrangement, to the production of the song, it is pretty much flawless to me. She really did it to me on this one. It just puts me in a different time. I almost like this song more than I like anything else on the new record, which was released last Tuesday.
As I Am was the biggest selling debut for a female artist since Mary J. Blige with The Breakthrough, selling over 700K. You can’t turn on MTV or VH1 without seeing her! Way to go, Alicia. She’s really doing it this time around.

Well as Ne-Yo said, everybody knows that R.Kelly is not an easy person to get along with. If your Brother Comes on “the Loop” and puts your past on Blast then hey! I don’t think alicia is better than lauryn hill but they are both artist with a profound attachment to what they do and a profound love for love !! but alicia kills it and her album is really not what i was expecting, i mean, it is amazingly different even if she still plays the piano but it sounds less RnB and more i stilll don’t know!
Wow..someone like me to get emotional over a song like this is amazing. There are only two women in the world that get me emotional and that is Alicia and Diana Ross. I love Mary too! Im sad this song is not on the album, this woman is so talented I am glad that her talent shined and not over sex up marketing.
