The song does sound like it could’ve been recorded during Afrodisiac, however the rap is definitely new. He mentions flipping his iPHONE. Those phones weren’t out back then, so the song may be new.

Nevertheless @ 21 I couldn’t have said it better. Brandy is a leader in the R&B game, she’s actually a veteran. She opened the door for the young black female singer. Her vocals cannot be matched.

You know what i think, thing song was recorded last year sometime and got left and the chopping board so to speak. Whoever produced it (B.E Productions (?)) was prolly working with Riff Raff and let him hear it, he was feelin it and decided to spit a quick 16, resulting in the song we hear today. He’s kept Brandy’s vocals on their coz he knows its good exposure for him and an underground rapper.

This is NOT the new material Brandy was talking about recording. Song is fiyah though, Dirtbag woulda killed this beat.

Riff Raff is actually a gospel rapper (I think he from my city–Greenville, SC)!) He be spittn dat real tho.

Who exactly is the competition? IMO music is kinda boring nowadays and female R&B artists aren’t as appealing as they used to be. At least Brandy comes correct with a sound that she has cultivated. A lot of these other girls out are either biting off artists from back in the day, or biting off each other. But I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I really like Brandy so I say that if she knows what is good for her she will leave this mess off of her album. This is not a hot song. It sounds dated and formulaic — from the extra long talk intro to the tired rap. It’s so mediocre. She has a great voice and deserves a better track.

Btw this song is old. She did it during Afro, and they just added the rapper, who she’s probably trying to promote. It definitley was produced by Timbo. The only other producer who has a sound similar to Timbo is Danjah (who worked with Brit), and that’s only because he worked under him, he’s a new producer so it could’nt of been him.

This song sounds like something that didnt make the cut for the classic FULL MOON album which was my therapy.

I have loved B-rocka since day one even though she has changed a lot. I agree with people who say that she used to sing differently when she was younger.It’s true that she doesn’t sing live anymore, She was more traditional, she got a little older (Moesha era) and was still doing her thing in a more adult way now she’s still singing her butt off but you can tell she’s been listening to Kim Burrell and improving even more. Bottom line she’s always been a skilled singer.

Brandy always had one of the most unique voices in music. Timbaland beats always complimented Brandy’s voice. She’s one of my favorite RnB singers. Brandy is a trendsetter, when it comes to modern RnB. BRANDY IS BACK WITH A HOT TRACK!!!
